Fixed.

Markis10, I will plead that I was distracted by creme brûlée. (And now you know where I am)!

LOL, great excuse, might have to use that one in the next few weeks myself.

just had another lesson from my golf pro tonight - ah golly, what he has done to my swing. He broke down my old swing and is amazingly building a new one, lesson by lesson. I wish I had done this earlier :(
Can also work against you.

Mick Jagger is already in Adelaide for the concert in 10 days time. He's going to fry with mid thirties temps next week.

Can also work against you.

It did for my first game of golf at Virginia- but more to do with me experimenting with new 51d and 60d wedges for which I hadn't worked out accurate distances. My new 7 Wood and 3 iron were awesome.

Hope you've recovered or at least had the hair of the dog :p

Funny how things can change, you think you could be doing something like flying at stupid hours to get more work done for your boss.
...
I hope it all works out for the best.

Indeed, Thanks

Which may have involved champagne!

But I don't drink? :p

Sorry to hear. I guess that's why we missed you on Sunday?

Possibly, what was Sunday?

Glass half full - fortunately they aren't paying you any less....(assumption made)

This is true... Although 0% more is really a pay cut in real terms when you take into account inflation and all that ;)

Love my 60d wedge. Ball goes about as high as it does far. But great for that short approach.

OT, I know, but can anyone find any direct geneva-Prague flights (for April 2015 specifically)?

I can't see any but a friend reckons she has found "heaps", so am I looking in the wrong place, or what?

You were going to collect some bottles from my house?

And an answer to something I was asked a few weeks back...seems you do earn points when your credit card goes shopping without you...

Hope it works out for you.

Another leftie at our golf club started tinkering with his golf swing with our pro. Let's just say he had a really nice golf swing. Now he is confused.

I have never had a lesson in my life. Not saying it's a good thing but the first time I rebuilt my swing from a flat swing where I hit the ball a long way but erratic to a more upright swing with a little more control. I miss the flat swing.

The second time I rebuilt my swing to go from a natural fade to a controlled baby draw. At the top of my game the ball would move 4-5 metres in the air. These days with my body giving up the baby draw can turn into a wild duck hook/snap hook/pull hook where the ball can move 20-50 metres in the air and that's where all the trouble starts.

Golf is fun and a lovely challenge to the mind....

MrP liked playing golf, had a good handicap and is a member at one of Adelaides traditional courses. But can no longer play due to a fractured elbow and metal replacement joint due to a fall a few years ago. He can no longer rotate his hand/arm enough to swing properly.

That's said to hear Pushka.

I dread the day I won't be able to play golf.

It has left a bit of a hole especially as we see retirement ahead in the next few years.

It's surprising how many nerve pathways there are in the elbow joint. He can't straighten his arm either.

That's a real shame. Not possible to improvise?
