Yes, hotmail blocks access from an account when a strange IP comes up.

Message I am getting is

"Couldn't establish a secure connection."

Not even given the choice for them to send code to phone as I do with desktops.

Currently stuck outside the MCC holding a guest pass because the scanning system is down and they are only letting members in until they fix it.

To make matters worse I can see my friends drinking inside...

Same thing happened to Jnr in SFO when logging in to hotmail, although a code was sent back to her mobile phone, which was back in OZ - so useless anyway :/

Had four wisdom teeth removed this morning. Antibiotics mean champagne can't be part of my liquid diet.

and why not?? urban myth. there are really very few antibiotics that don't 'mix' with alcohol. of course, one shouldn't wash down your amoxil with rum - poor form really.

Flagyl comes to mind.

There's a big label on the bottle saying no alcohol. Not fussed really, I don't actually feel like drinking anyway.

Yep that's the one. This poor sucker has a penicillin allergy...

Flagyl is awful. Metallic taste? And definitely no alcohol. That's the only antibiotic I've known that has the warning. My dad was allergic to penicillin. Damn near killed him when they found out. On an aircraft carrier following treatment for pneumonia while in the Navy.

No metallic taste that I've noticed. I discoverd my allergy when I had pneumonia too; was not pleasant.

That little timber block that is just slightly inset under my couch jumped out and attacked the middle toe on my right foot last night. It hurt so bad when it happened, I wasn't sure which toe it got until this morning. A very very purple tootie this morning. I tried to don work shoes this morning, but inevitably ended up wearing thongs.

It's not a new couch and the furniture hasn't been rearranged. How the hell do these things happen?

I had to be put under for mine. One was partially erupted and all four were impacted. Surgery only took 30 minutes, was home by 11.30 which is pretty good.

I had such a bad experience when I had mine out, I didn't return to the dentist for years. My face was so swollen, I couldn't put my lips together and I had bruising all down my neck for a couple of weeks. I lost 5kgs in a week, which was a plus. I later found out that the surgeon had a really bad reputation and had recently been sued for malpractice after a patient died. All was ok in the end, but I shouldn't have blindly trusted my dentist when he sent me to that maxillofacial surgeon. I should have got a second opinion from another surgeon.

It still sends shivers up my spine thinking about it.

My surgeon was good. Minimal swelling/bruising, but I'm struggling with the pain. Codeine isn't cutting it.
