The key is what will it be like when you get home though?!?
I'd say it won't be like that any more

I too would use that as a hand hold. There's no other reason for it.
I've looked at those things plenty of times and never considered them a hand hold: no idea what they are as an alternative. Why would you use them as a handhold when there's plenty of yellow vertical poles around? Just seems to be an uncomfortable option if you use it as a handhold?
So I've now been thinking about them for the last five minutes and all I can come up with is maybe a temporary 'gate' might be installed there if the doors weren't working properly??? (but surely the train carriage would just be taken out of service if the doors didn't work properly) #mysteriesoftheuniverse
Happy new year! Bringing in the day with blueberry pancakes.
Happy New Year from Tumby Bay South Australia its on the eastern side of Eyre Peninsula.
2014 was a good year, and I have a couple of trips planned for 2015, I hope work doesn't cause me too much grief.
Look forward to catching up with a few of you in 2015.
We did as well
Day trip with a few friends to Rye, Camber and Canterbury today. No solid plans for this evening, but will see what happens. London now limits the attendees for the fireworks and unless you were able to purchase one of the very few tickets that were for sale, then there's no point heading in. Shame really but c'est la vie.
Hoping you're still alive and haven't tried throwing yourself out the window after three hours on a cattle-car trip that would take 60 minutes in Japan!Kicking off 2015 with the train from Wang to Melbourne
