Haagen Dazs ice cream has a high level of butter fat to give it a rich full flavor. Some things that taste so good are not so good for your heart arteries.

Hmm ... a quick trip to MileEnd South for a feast of Vili's washed down with Coopers finished by Golden North ice cream ...

Sounds like a good idea. Try honey. But then, Maggie Beer makes a fine ice cream too. But a little more expensive and alternative.

And while you are at it try some Fruchocs. And a Coopers Pale ale if thirsty.

With a Fruchocs chaser

Will everyone stop talking about Fruchocs. The more we talk about them the more people will want them!

Well I want some because I've never had any before!

There's pretty much no fruit in chocolate here in Switzerland. There is raisin and nut chocolate, but it is usually marketed as for tourists.

I am well acquainted with Coopers and even Maggie Beer ice cream, but not Fruchocs.

Have you tried the Fruchocs drink yet JessT?

No I haven't. Was there an icecream too?

Funnily enough, whilst I am a firm believer of chocolate not just being for breakfast, I have never taken to chocolate milk.

Of course it does make up 4 of the 5 food groups: chocolate, chocolate, chocolate, red wine, chocolate.

If you don't get around to it on the day, try the SA store at the airport near the Travelex, Qantas side. Try just eating one. Don't get the jumbo size but the original. And apricot. Cherry I don't like so much. :p

But they are at least twice the price of the supermarkets.*

*Actually that's a good idea. Everyone will think they are too dear and won't want them.

You forgot #6.

Champagne

The more people eating fruchocs, the more the profit they make to reinvest in production to make more fruchocs and also to stay in business longer.

So telling people is good.

We'll have a car for a couple days. I'm sure we'll be stopping in a supermarket at some point

Gundowring ice cream is pretty awesome too, I love the raspberry. Also not cheap but worth every cent.

My sister loves ice cream; that's her food weakness.

We only went to one food establishment twice when we went to Melbourne together before I left Australia. That place was Messina Gelato.

I have a large pack in the pantry

I have seen a post on FB regarding a Nippy's Fruchoc flavoured drink - I hope it isn't a hoax!

It's been advertised. That's the drink I was asking JessT about. Not available in Coles I don't think but IGAs and Foodland. Of course.

C**p! That's horrible news :(

Especially since I currently live walking distance from the factory store.

Must go buy more before they close.

Oh funny TomVexville so do I! A quick 10 mins stroll. Lost count of the number of bike rides with the kids on a hot day fir an ice cream treat. Such a shame. Where am I going to get my boxes of icy poles for the grandkids now?
