Well I'll be in ADL nenext weekend. Might have to find this Golden North you and JessicaTam speak of

Sounds like a good idea. Try honey. But then, Maggie Beer makes a fine ice cream too. But a little more expensive and alternative.

And while you are at it try some Fruchocs. And a Coopers Pale ale if thirsty.

Maggie Beer burnt fig ice cream is excellent. Definitely on the pricier side, plus it is quite sweet indeed - appropriate digestif (tea, coffee) advised.

Whilst I am no stranger to good ol' Coopers, I've never had Fruchocs before. Don't hate me now.......

I,m a fan of Tasmanian ice creams. They definitely put the emphasis on cream.

Don't you just hate auto correct
Now repeat after me B O W L E S

I don't know about in South Australia, but eating ice cream from a bowl (pl. bowls) is just fine and dandy where I come from. :)

A kitchen bowl, that is. Not the other bowl connected to the error. :)

Problem is they can be cheap and nasty, e.g. vanilla ice cream which has been watered down, tastes more like ice and uses fake vanilla.

That said, these days that's rarely a huge problem, but some people like their ice cream (or gelato).
Ah I see what you mean.

I also love my ice cream. I find Homebrand Chocolate coated 10pk ice cream is more than adequate and while not as good as Hearts etc it costs $2.99 at Woolworths which is almost the same price as 1 Heart. Just because it's cheap doesn't mean it doesn't taste nice. There are times where I had 3-4 a night because they are addictive and with each one ~200 calories it was ruining my dieting. So they are barred from Brisbane apartment but still at mum and dad's in Sydney where I limit myself to 1 a night.

Yummmm.

Watching the Aussies play a brilliant end to end game against Kuwait in the first match of the AFC Asian CUP. We won 4-1. How many shots against the woodwork :o

While Golden North is nothing to me. With this attitude it is little wonder that you don't enjoy life. Cheap ice cream is rubbish.
Watching where I spend my money is not the reason I don't enjoy life. Thank my luck for that one.

I'd rather have 1 Weis bar than 10 home brand anything. ;)
That's fine as well.

How about accommodation? I just paid ~AUD254 for 4 nights in 2 weeks in a 1.5-2 star hotel in Pattaya. The Hilton was close to AUD300/night. I know which hotel is better but I am going to spend the same time in both hotels and sleep the same in both hotels.
