I just started watching the first episode of seaSON 3. I lasted about ten minutes - my daughter was trying to precis the story and tell me about the characters. I lasted ten minutes. I'm thinking it would be a great one to sit and watch in a block from the beginning!

great show. early seasons explain alot.

In this highly politically sensitive regime, I'm waiting for the first anti messages a la when Margaret Thatcher died.

That said, although Fraser came to power with the party who currently run the country, he has been a rather outspoken critic of said party in recent years before he passed away.

Yes sad to see Malcolm die.
I had several interactions with him.The first was 1969 when I chaired a debate between Mr. Fraser as Minister for science and Tom Lewis then Premier of NSW on Conservation at Sydney University.I admit to not being impartial and being quite hard on Tom Lewis.
I next met Mr.Fraser at a Liberal event in 1982 and he remembered me from that debate. This was confirmed 15 years later when one of his speech writers became a patient-he said that Malcolm felt quite uneasy attending a debate at a University but came away feeling uplifted.
The last contact was in 1984.After my preselection the first message of congratulations came from Malcolm Fraser.
Although his manner caused many to think he was arrogant he certainly was not when you met him.

I don't recall Fraser being highly damaging to people and families. Thatcher did the things that Fraser failed to do during his time. There is no equavilence between the two, so I have no idea why you'd being waiting for anything.

Because it seems to happen quite frequently after a politician of some significance passes away.

What was the temperature in Brisbane today? I think it is 26C now but feels much hotter. The chocolate Easter bunnies I bought earlier today have almost melted.

My weather station in the western suburbs recorded a max of 37.2C at 1.04 PM. (19/3/15)

Hahaha. Stay away from the public as much as possible.

I have in the waiting room at the hospital clinic for ~1h 45m. I was given a 10:45am appointment. There looks like at least 8 people still to be seen. I'd bet a portion of my life savings that I'll be last to be seen again. Why me again? Last time I walked out after waiting 2h 15m. Getting close to breaking point again.

I find using the 'extended waiting time' a great opportunity to catch up on any outstanding 'thought' task - such as planning a future trip, working out exactly what tasks I SHOULD get around to after having put off for xx_X, or reading some of those mags, papers that have piled up.

I always turn up early for the appointment as (in NSW) it seems first in best dressed regardless of the card appointment time. It just seems to be morning session vs afternoon session.

Fortunately (unfortunately) my visits are about less than annual, but a scare in 2013 saw me demolish a lot of outstanding work.

Fraser is probably now liked by the left.
