Shute Shield Rugby has finally left the ABC :( but it's turned up on 7 Two. Gordon leading Easts 5 - 3 at half time.

I admit I find Nigella as beguiling as then next red blooded male, but that comparison with Ms McKeith is rather simplistic.

One woman has led a life of upper class privilege, consciously minimizes her exposure to the sun, and probably spent more in one year on beauty treatments than the other has earned in a lifetime.

I don't know the circumstances of Ms McKeith's background.

The other salient point is that there probably are are less flattering photos of the domestic Goddess they may have ignored.

Having said that, I know who I'd rather date.

(hmmm new thread: What is it about Nigella Lawson that so many blokes find attractive?")

I'm not sure being born with a silver spoon in ones mouth means automatic good looks. Nigella was a stunning beauty in her youth also.
If wealth and privilege were an automatic path to good looks. Princess Anne would be a goddess. .....,
That said, it certainly can't hurt to have access to resources that enhance ones looks.
PS. I'm a definite Nigella Fan.

Gordon take it out 19 -10. I'm glad local rugby is still on the box in SYD. Is it still covered up in BNE?

I think my plans to play golf tomorrow morning just went out the window

Meh. Looks like an increase in water hazards, so your stroke count might go up quite a bit (depending on your skill). Of course, if the greens are underwater, you might have problems sinking (pun intended) a putt without incurring an additional penalty stroke.

Reminds me on something attributed to Adam Gilchrist (though I can't be sure)... He is supposed to have told a business lunch or similar that he's been in terrific form, hitting the ball sweetly and that he'd hit four consecutive centuries in the past four weeks...

...all of them on the golf course. Boom tish. :)

Surely that just makes for an even more exciting and challenging game?? (for the record I have never had the time to try golf)
