Had the baby at 8.30am and went home at 6pm. She probably gets hospital level care at home anyway...

Yes. I think she only arrived at 6am though - just made it.

unghh ... migrate from the Wing to the QF lounge to find gate 30!!

that's 10-15 minutes walk from the Lounge ... furthest I've ever has on a QF flight ...

so a quick walk around to appraise the lounge decor ... (yechh!) and layout ... sparkling water and sit down with a Grey label Shiraz (better).

(nicely) accosted by a dude with some dim sum, full from the Wing ,but what can I say ... call to SWMBO and then off again.

Followed the three QF pilots along the myriad of travellators between the lounge and gate 30 ... now watching the action.

(oh, I thanks to expert flyer I managed to secure an even numbered new configuration 333 window seat ... yeah!)

Just watching the CC arrive ... like like they took the train to gate 36 and walked back as they came from a westerly direction.

Apparently I have access to free drinks and snacks at Treasury Casino, Star City and Jupiters.

Hendricks, Tanqueray, Belvedere, Grey Goose etc.

If anyone is ever in the area and feeling thirsty the please let me know and we can have a drink or 3 on the house.

It is a lovely morning here on the Sunshine Coast, clear blue sky, no wind, sun is shining. Such a difference to yesterday ! Gale force winds, driving rain and cold.

Friday May 1 @BNK 107 mm of rain with 50 knot winds with gusts up to 70. I had to go to the doctor at Lennox Head to get a BCC cut of the base of my throat. Driving through causeways in the wind and rain and floods to get my throat cut - but here I am today, OK and a beautiful autumn day at BNK with flights back to normal

All patients attended today's Outpatient clinic.They were all early.The clinic finished at the time the last patient was due.
