I think its more a case of the English loosing
Or as a result of being at the bad end of an Australian Fanatics prank.
Broad and Swann have had some fun entertaining the viewers, but its time to wrap it up for an early lunch now. Can't see Harmison belting it around like Broad was doing.Well the English are well on the back foot, and it's only the second day of play finished.
If Australia stuff this up.......... <insert sufficiently tortuous fate here>
Who knows -only 96 runs to make oz bat again.Broad and Swann have had some fun entertaining the viewers, but its time to wrap it up for an early lunch now. Can't see Harmison belting it around like Broad was doing.
Didn't take too long to wrap it up after lunch . Talk about a one-sided game. Over in less than 2.5 days. Now if they could just have wrapped up the first game when they had the chance .... oh well. Makes the 5th test worth watching.Who knows -only 96 runs to make oz bat again.
Don't wear it out as you might just need it in September :!: :shock:and munitalP wanders around the house singing the saints club song 19 times every hour...

Unlikely!
Flashware Senior has just been invited over to Melbourne to watch the grand final (courtesy of the company he's been doing work with over there); pity the Eagles won't be playing
Does Flashware Senior need another "son" to sit with him at the GF so I can watch the mighty St Kilda win? He wouldn't need to put his hand in his wallet all day. Not so subtle hint, begging etc. When St Kilda get close we will be coming out in force.
In my experience the incompetence can be found throughout Europe.I'm still dealing with incompetence on a daily basis over here in the UK. Is it a national art form?

Summary of interactions with a certain large UK Bank.
- Opened bank account (easy!).
- Changed address to my new residence. Got a security audit performed because my transaction was suspicious.
- Requested a cheque book. They suggested sending it to the branch. 2 weeks later it still hadn't arrived, so re-ordered to my address. It turned up about a week later.
- Applied for another account online. Paperwork for the account took about 2 weeks to turn up.
- Applied for a credit card (<$A1000 credit limit). It took about 2 weeks for a preliminary fail (and another week for them to send the paperwork!) as they have no confirmation of my address. Off to the branch I go and get some stuff faxed to the Credit Card centre. 2 weeks later still havn't heard anything, so call up again to enquire. Paperwork never received. So I've now re-attended the branch and got them to fax it off again.
Checked with the cc centre to see if it's been received - "Nope, can't check. Faxes cannot be received after 4pm for security reasons, so it will arrive tomorrow morning". One wonders if it will be received!
Not even 100% sure they will accept the paperwork provided. Not sure what to do if that occurs, although the card is practically guaranteed to be approved once the address details are ok.
It is always fun trying to set up your financial life again overseas!
Umm...this is left field, but I was fiddling around with the oneworld website that talks about lounge access. There is a page where you can "search for a oneworld lounge" in given destinations.
If you look up ZQN, the Air New Zealand Koru Club is returned as a lounge with an asterisk saying that it is "operated by a third party on behalf of QF".
For a period of time you could get into the KC (in ZQN) if you were a OW member with lounge access, I remember going in with my dad when we weren't flying ANZ. However that was a long time ago, maybe they just forgot to change that entry.
Currently, at least as a QF QP or above, they give you a $50 voucher to be used at the cafe round the corner. $50 can get you quite a lot of good food there. I got a few beers, a quiche and some sweets when I last flew out.
Bearing in mind that OW lounge search still lists the Gold Coast as having a QP too.

Do they give you the voucher when you check-in?
