I have no idea how to use this bloody mobile app but I think I recently sent a very important pm to Red Roo
Would someone mind asking Red Roo if he / she received it please?

Renting a property and renting a property out to someone can be very frustrating at times.

Currently renting a place in Brisbane until I can move back to my current place in November.

I sent an email to the building cc in the agent about some lights and asking for their assistance.

i get a reply from the building rentals.

"As we don’t manage your apartment I will let agent advise you in regards to your email below.

Have a great day!"

I wrote back said: "I will have a great day when I can know the answers to my problems"

Frustrates me when I get an email, that can't they can't do anything but don't tell me to have a great day.

Or the call centre equivalent "Is there anything else I can help you with", when they didn't actually help you with the problem you called about. Well scripted is all.

We could nearly start a new thread on the joys of dealing with Property Managers.
Mine last week .....

ME: 1/7/15 call Real Estate - Hi I will be in the area on Saturday, would you please see if the tenant would be home either morning or early afternoon for me to just measure 2 windows for new drapes.
ME 4/7/15 no reply, tenant must not be available, drive thru the town without stopping.
R/E 9/7/15 received email - I have spoken to the tenant she will only be home in the morning for you to attend on Saturday.

A week too late.

Just thought I'd follow-up on my Superannuation issue..... It took 5 phone calls and five different people... Finally got supervisor.... It was their fault the stuff up of transaction date showing 30/6 instead of 1/7/15.
Now should I get compensation? One year free of administration fees sound fare to me!!!!!

You are lucky. The thieves at MLC super took a payment from me dated and posted by registered mail on 29th June and credited this on 1 July. Cost me $35k in tax. Bugger all I could do. Never understood how they could steal the money I had specifically allocated to them on a given date for a specific purpose and just ignore my specific instructions and apply it for a different purpose. Expensive QC's opinions not withstanding the ATO strictly applied the letter of the statute. Not impressed. No longer with MLC of course. Thieves.

Ps: after this they changed the rules to force them to obey instructions and refuse payments 'received' outside the dates. The ATO refused to deal with these issues since they made a windfall of some $400 million in excess tax because of the loophole.

same with us on a recent flight out of saigon on Singapore air to singapore then QF to BNE. absolutely no dramas
