I am thinking of you anat0l... Try not to let people get you down, even when they are very close to you.

You are a very intelligent young man, and you have many good years of life ahead to look forward to. You'll get over this little hiccup :)

Finished Santangelo the Novel last week.

Is that the one released in June 2015? I downloaded it last night from Amazon.

Gosh I love the kindle. I first saw one in Vietnam when a US lady had one on a junk in Halong Bay. That was before they released them internationally, I think in 2008. I was hooked and the day they were released internationally I ordered one - in 2009.

Yes, read it on my kindle. Think my kindle was the first one they came out with. Remember being on a flight to.......? (too many) and the flight crew all wanting to have a look at the new gadget. Must have been around 2008/9 and its still going strong - even when being left on a train from Philly to DC. Cost me more to get it back than to buy a new one, but what the heck.

I cant resist upgrading. The ones with the internal light are excellent. I don't like the touch screen version though.

If you missed it previously have a look at this thread on the Paris Airshow and B787-9.

There's an update been added which adds a video that goes through the making of the clip (at the start of that thread). The extreme take-off angle was no sleight of hand.

Some classic comments by the chief pilot.

Good to see the same build strength for Boeing Commercial planes goes into the military ones as well!

I'll never forget the pictures of the Aloha Airlines B737 explosive decompression plane.

They sure build them solidly.

A deep and complex question.
I'm reminded of the song "happiness is" ( different things to different people) . I think that sometimes we really know what it is, but lack the fortitude to make the change. This post is too short to give the subject meaning. So please excuse me if I am fumbling with answers.
Correct. Happiness is different things to different people. Very difficult to explain.

The easiest way for me to is to set myself goals. When I was younger it was working hard to secure some sort of future. That made me happy. Now it is about travelling and being in different places doing different things.

Never going to be happy every minute of every day. In fact lots of times one will feel miserable. It is all about finding the right balance.

That awkward moment when you have a conference call over normal "dinner time" then you go out for dinner at 9:30 and everything is closed... Beer and Kebab for dinner it is then.

Anyone remember a service station that pumps your fuel and while that is happening checks your tyre pressure, oil level, brake fluid level and washes all your windows and wing mirrors?
Yes our local does all that in California and Mrscove is impressed. You pay a bit extra for the fuel.
