There was a funny xkcd cartoon which was a dig at places where they say passwords must have at least certain numbers of particular characters, or a certain minimum length. The effort in making people have certain elements in their passwords was mocked as making those passwords actually easier to crack than if they just left it completely free form, or something like that.

Our home was hit by a power surge so we lost phones,some lights,Internet and fried some electricity based instruments. Lucky Perth is in a downturn so we can get trades folks to turn up to do repair work pretty quickly. It would have been much harder 3 years earlier.
I think that was from a storm and most probably lightning.
