For those of us who are of a certain age, it was THE George Martin. The other one's just a novelist :)

Well some people did confuse the two.

When the news of the death of legendary music producer George Martin broke on Twitter on Wednesday, many jokingly pondered if younger social media users might confuse the "fifth Beatle" with George RR Martin, author of the novels on which the popular series Game of Thrones is based.
Somewhat predictably it has happened: fans of the cult fantasy novels and television series have been publicly mourning their hero and panic has set in about the unfinished series.

Thanks. That is about the price I want, but much bigger capacity.

I will give that serious consideration as I have been very happy with the ALDI lawnmower I bought a few years ago.

That machine will probably be quite loud.
You will most likely have no issues, but I spent about 15 years (up to 2013) dealing with these types of machines and always found the cheap ones to be a false economy: they never break when you don't need them!
We frequently tested various machines and they rarely got anywhere near their advertised specs - some so far off their rated power outputs with voltage surges that could be potentially fatal to a power-sensitive machine like a laptop.
The only 1kVA Inverter machines I could recommend are the Honda EU10i and the Yamaha EF1000iS. They are very similar to each other: very light (13kg), very quiet (a factor often not considered), very economical and totally reliable. The power output is very clean (voltage and frequency stability - very little sine wave distortion) and safe for things like laptops - actually cleaner than normal household power.
Yes, they are much more expensive but times are slow, dealers will usually do a deal if you do some (genuine) price comparisons. Plus you'll never have to buy another one.
Just my 2cents. :)

Well there were 2 buggies. Not sure which of the drivers was at fault.
It was a three seater buggy that crashed into an unoccupied parked one. All the injured bar one were on the three seater buggy. The bar one was a bystander/witness that collapsed. Quite a common event on the island unfortunately though usually only one or two are injured.

One report said it was the placement of a stent for an abdominal aortic aneurysm so if correct not heart surgery.

Bloody hell. For some reason tradesmen think it is a good to start construction work before 6am in a residential area.

Apparently they can under special circumstances - eg concrete pour. In SA its all controlled by EPA and not the Council. Is it a PH there Monday? Might also be a reason.
