Another list of things you shouldn't do

Ten things a man over 50 should never do

numbers 1 and 7 are my faves :D

My well over 50 Father, has a number of baseball caps. Has a number of fedoras and a Rabbit Skin hat a national party member or Bob Katter would be proud of.

I have seen him wearing his caps of his two countries, a Star Wars cap, his western bulldogs cap, an intrepid cap and a couple others.

For my Nephews recent baptism, I had to put the foot down when he wanted to wear a cream fedora with a dark suit.

I just spent 15 minutes on Ninemsn and did not see a single reference to Kim Kardashian or Kendall Jenner.

Thank God for small mercies but hope the world is not about to end....

No, Jon English played Judas, Reg Livermore as King Herod.
Think I saw it 3 times in Sydney. Started my love of stage productions.

Ah yes. I was still at school and it was an excursion we did. Best ever.

It was a fantastic cast, I thought Jesus was wonderful. . Schoolgirl crush.

I haven't heard it a lot, but would it be a superficial idea - for those who do not like mowing the grass - to rip up the current lawn and replace it with either a synthetic or very low rate growth grass?

The only thing with synthetic is that it is not great for drainage, and probably not for animals either. It probably also looks mostly unusual and potentially unattractive. Finally, in all of that there is a great cost.

We just installed some fake grass today. Previously had gravel, so this definitely looks nicer. The space is much more usable too. I think it looks good - but you would hope so seeing as it is only day 1!

I've also just replaced my gravel .. but with lovely grass. I bought some of the better synthetic squares to have a look at that first, but just didn't work for me. This is the only lawn I have ... so a push mower will be therapeutic once a week or so, and then I can sit back with a nice G&T or white wine and admire. This lot is 3 weeks old and just had its first (high) haircut. And still a work in progress ..

Very early in to the city this morning. Far too early for work. So treated myself to a delicious breakfast of french toast with bacon and maple syrup in East Perth, accompanied by a very large coffee.
Quite nice, but a little bit of banana would have improved it greatly.

Next time.
