I must be the only one annoyed when you read something written like:

"Cupcakes. 0.50 cents"

...and get really disappointed when I ask to buy ten of them and they ask for a five dollar note, not a five cent piece.

Took our 10-month old daughter for her first visit to the zoo this morning. Got some funny pics of her with the dinosaur installations they have recently installed.
Joined the Zoo Friends program as well, because I am sure we'll be going back quite a bit in the next 12 months. A sound investment.

We are friends of the Zoo also. My 2 year old son loves the zoo and we have certainly got value out of our membership.

I don't work Wednesday so am often there with the baby brigade. My friends all have the memberships too and it's a really easy half-day with the little ones.

The dinosaurs are kind of interesting but I like the large exhibit for the Coatis as best new feature lately.

Itchy feet... I haven't flown since late January and I should be doing lots of other things right now, but currently open tabs included flightradar24, qantas, AFF, Expertflyer, Skyscanner and a couple of others.

Didn't spot that on this occasion, although we didn't make a real day of it. Next time I think.

Good on you! I love zoos. I have recently visited Taronga (Sydney), San Diego and Honolulu zoos. My favourite animals are koalas, elephants, giraffes and especially gorillas. The zoo at SIN is also great. I have had breakfast with the Orang-utans there

Interesting perspective at the monkey enclosure who have a multimillion dollar waterfront view of Sydney Harbour.

I wonder who are truly the exhibit?. The monkeys or their furless cousins. I suspect Taronga is providing the monkeys with a view and entertainment using self funding cough Sapiens with strange flashing toys.

My email is out of control. Can't keep up. Over 1,200 emails in inbox.

And Zuji sends me a great offer on airfares to BKK and HKG. From PER though and on Malindo Air. Seriously not a great offer. Why can't they tailor emails to a person's home airport?

Follow the lead of Simon de Monfort in 1209,"Kill them all, God will know His own"

Can't watch "The Night Manager" without thinking of "Blackadder"......, mind you, I hardly watched "House" for the same reason, although of course, I do realise he is a very talented actor.

Hopefully some good will come from this, but I won't be holding my breath, those that want to avoid paying their fair share of tax will always find a way to do this.
We allowed this to happen. Now it is out of control.
