English Premier League thru Optus has my son enraged by the pricing. The social media backlash was building last night so today it should get reported in the news.

Might be some angry EPL fans next season with further pressure put on Australia's internet system, when they all try to stream a early Liverpool-Man U kickoff via streaming.

Here we go. Assume 90kw/h usage/monthThink Dodo is clear winner?

Checks the T&Cs to see there is no sting in the tail (like 'statement' fees, CC or payment fees etc) and if none then sounds good!

Look carefully at exactly what rate the power is charged at and what the daily access fee is in the PDF you get from their site to ensure it matches what the comparison sites showed.

The company has to agree to giving you remote access to network. Only some people have that privilege working from home.

P.S. I asked for remote access a few years ago so that I could work form home occasionally which meant I could be in Sydney a little more often. Access was denied. A few months back I was asked if I wanted to go on the dayend/monthend roster as some of the leads were not interested. I am not a lead. I refused even though that meant I would have had remote access. LOL.
We generally advise against remote access unless absolutely necessary. However, we always try to find acceptable solutions for the business owners (which Bundy appears to be) as most work 60-80 hour weeks and sometimes a little bit of freedom can save their sanity or even marriages.

Bundy can answer for himself but he is not the owner of the business. Just an employee putting in long hours unlike me who is an employee and only does what they have to and nothing extra.

Doing my second ever Tiger flight... The price was awesome and just hope I don't regret it...

You and my SIL would have wonderful conversations. She also creates quilts for the Armed Services.

Seems I'm about to become the sole breadwinner courtesy of a major media organisation's redundancy program. At least we had a little practice while the wife was on maternity leave. Bit overwhelming though.

I always pay the extra for a silver service car and never had a bad one. Unfortunately you have to be ready when you call and they can be 15-30mins in non-peak to 2-3 hours on a Friday night.

I always talk to the drivers when I am travelling by myself and many times I have had owners of the cars and you can normally pick it because the car is better quality and better maintained. The uber drivers are surprising earning well and I assumed it was because many forgot to take into account costs like interest and depreciation, but the ones I spoke to had and were very aware of all their costs.

There are a number of families that used to own a large portion of cabs, predominantly through extended family, trusts, super, companies etc. Everyone know the one that has a name like the brand name that races at Bathurst (and I don't mean Holden). Those players have always run Government policy and have tens of millions worth of licenses. Given the value of those would significantly fall (think they are $600k if you can get one when released by government and a lot more on the open market), you can understand why they lobbying so hard.

There is a difference between control and own. Last time I look at Brisbane taxi licence they were advertised for less than $600K (4 to 500k -ish from memory) on the open market.

Here we go. Assume 90kw/h usage/month.

Just to clarify, do you mean 90 kWh? or do they use some sort of hourly calculation?
