Unfortunately these days it seems to be broken into the people who want everyone else to pay for them and those that have to do the paying. When will the world change from "What can everyone else do for me"? Very similar to the old inheritance issues.

Bureau told us Adelaide was going to get up to 50mls this weekend. Mmm. So far? Less than 2ml. Humph.

Oh cove. You are a cad. Now is definitely not the time for more credit card sign ups. But I do enjoy your enthusiasm.
MrsGM has some ideas for future opportunity/income, but in the meantime is pleased to dedicate herself fulltime to baby wrangling. And we'll save money on day care.
And although it's early days, the lump sum payment may be enough for us to restructure a few things and work towards moving up to a more suitable home to raise the aforementioned baby.
Very early days mind you.

Given the court sentencing, that is understandable. And if your licence gets withdrawn? Heck. Drive without it. Its just another slap. If you get caught. Nothing more.
