40 Billion dollars the industry is worth yearly especially in the Asia Pacific region.

1.2 billion dollars investment in this ship!

Billion ton of sewerage produced yearly

Outbreaks of novo virus major cause of sickness !

Large luxury goods shops onboard make extra revenue for them.

Cruise potential 24 million expecting extra 45 million.

5000 eggs consumed everyday on the ship.

Let's not mention water consumed per day!

The ships create their own water supply and ethically manage sewerage. So they are doing better than land based consumption. Noro occurs everywhere, the media just likes the cruise ship stories. Eggs will be consumed whether on land or sea.

Seeing that I am actually 6' 1" (185cm), I find it a bit worrying someone who deals with numbers everyday mucked up his conversion? Your are about 190 cm QF WP.

I'm glad you mentioned that! I'm also 6'3 and was getting a bit worried!

I was 185cms but have been shrinking ever since :D :D. Now I'm not sure whether it was my inability to type the right figures or my conversion - my Licence says 184cms, so now I'm off to measure myself.

Could I interject and similarly argue that as a fat man, my shirts are nominally larger (or at least wider, not taller) than most, resulting in usually requiring three turns when ironing the back of the shirt (rather than two, viz. left and right side), means that I still spend longer than most ironing shirts. :) Pants could be similarly arguable.

Interestingly, my father, who is one of the most meticulous people I have ever met when it comes to ironing clothes, irons whilst sitting down. I, however, prefer to iron standing up.

Sitting down seems weird to me, but he would enjoy the Hilton ironing boards then.

I like nothing better than pulling out a stack of business and casual shirts and stand in front of the TV watching sport - my wife can't complain :D. Don't let my wife anywhere near the iron, often she asks me to iron her stuff (which I will if it's cotton and not bunched/ruffled etc). Some female clothes are just buggers to iron - have to draw the line somewhere ;).

Brussel sprouts, love them or hate them? I used to hate them as they always had the cough boiled out of them, recently I discovered that when they are overcooked, they release a sulphurous compound.

Now I buy baby brussels and cook gently, a recipe for success, (groan!) How To Cook Brussels Sprouts So Everyone Will Love Them So, if when growing up you had overcooked sprouts, give them another chance :)

From the above site, quote "Brussels sprouts contain things called glucosinolates. They're compounds that actually have all sorts of health benefits, but have the unfortunate tendency to release lots of sulfur the longer they're cooked. The result? The taste of overcooked Brussels sprouts might remind you of rotten eggs."

Love Brussel sprouts especially when halved and roasted or fried in a little oil. Yummy nutty flavour. I did grow up on them cooked to death and turning that grey dishwater colour. Same went for cauliflower - boiled till it was pink. Yuck. Now u have it roasted with coughin and mustard seed. Much better.

I know she's watching but mrsdrron is very good with brussel sprouts usually in a stir fry.And her cauliflower in cheesy sauce is a real favourite of mine.

Virgin Mobile/Optus was out for ~3 hours early this morning.

Now my phone has rebooted itself 4 times. Is it possible to just have 1 week without dealing with these issues?

Used to eat brussel sprouts at least once a month when in Switzerland, as they were one of the cheaper green veggies that could be bought.

I liked halving them then pan frying them in some butter or even burnt butter and garlic.

The tallest one ever is occurs around age 30-35. After that shrinking occurs due to drying out of the vertebral discs.
