They were already using Line and sms and whatsapp and facebook and twitter and Thai love links and whatever else they can do on the phone. What's one more application in the grand scheme of things?Sadly the world wide infestation of Pokemon has reached Bangkok. In a very crowded city lots of people walking about with their heads down looking at their phone screen.
Really stuffs up the walking about.
Very happy to see the much belated awards for the long tan veterans
I met one yesterday for work. Laconic as all hell.
Went to local post office late today and while collecting mail from my PO Box, this 30ish yo hooned in in his car straight into the disabled spot in the car park. The he bounded out of the car towards to shops. I said to him "are you disabled, in not then why are you parking in the disabled spot?" He took this as a mortal offence, started the yelling four letter words ( in the progressive tense) and rushed towards me threatening to punch me out.
Must have been something in the water in Brisbane today. So, in fact, he was disabled if only in restricted brain chemistry.
FWIW - the much bigger rip-off is state stamp duties. They are pure tax, and provide very little value at all, apart from lining the state's pockets. They reduce liquidity in the market, and are generally useless.
Andrew Denton, just love his work in this field.

After a lovely drive to the far reaches of the state and back (well almost) I am now waiting for a phone call to tell me the outcome.
Did I ever mention how much I don't like interviews?
*sigh*

One day we will grow up and release those of us who choose to, from the shackles of religion that distort one's perception of humane treatment of the dying. Having been through an awful period of 12 days where I was the one to invoke Mum's wishes of DNR, then watch as we starved her of food and water, then the so-called palliative care she received was inhumane. My thoughts when I dwell on such things, and I try not to but this has raised it again, are that I tortured her to death.

Similar situation with my Father, absolutely horrible.
As the interviewer you need to get into the interviewee's head which is where many fall down as sometimes there's nothing there! :shock:They are not a bundle of laughs on either side of the table. As the interviewee you need to get into the interviewers head which is where many fall down.
