I will respond to your PM JohnK, but know what you are going through. Whilst it is a tough period, the technology has improved immensely so should be some comfort hopefully.

You will get through this JohnK. Sometimes you've just got to tie a knot and hang on. I am not being a Pollyanna but a pragmatist.

Several painted statues of Donald Trump in his birthday suit have turned up in cities around the US including Los Angeles and New York. A chance for a picture or two maybe?
He looks a bit overweight and his many non supporters think it is pretty funny.

Praying? You are doing it wrong then.

And no I don't believe in coincidence for coincidence sake. As pushka points out things happen for a reason.

While I am not into the praying thing, I do think that things mostly happen for a reason that is usually not obvious at the time. The exception to this is any criminal activity. And some illnesses esp in children. Some might argue even then.

I guess we will never know.

But people who underestimate the power of prayer don't understand life in general. Prayer, for those that believe, can provide strength and courage to get through tough times. I have seen it first hand with my mother. That definitely wasn't coincidence that she was able to not only survive but go from strength to strength. She is one tough woman.

Sitting in a Qantas business lounge, reminded of a line from Allo Allo - Herr Flick: "Vhy is this mutton dressed as lamb"

Did he get a little pickle?

For those who aren't across all the airport codes in AU, here are a couple that I am to become very familiar with on a permanent basis - PTJ & WMB.

"Yes Santa Claus, there is a Virginia"!

I am one very happy girl.

*happy dance* combined with *foolish grin*

For those who offered words of encouragement as I kept going back for more - Thank you.

*Community announcement*

Ladies and gentlemen, please be advised the the documentary "Flying High" is on tonight at 8.35pm on Go!

This is an excellent program showing a day in the life of an airline.

*Announcement ends*

I assume it will be more enjoyable after (and during) a bottle (or so) of Tat, Verve, etc?

ps. Is it possible to do a lounge crawl at either PTJ & WMB or maybe both together?

Edit: Roger, roger ...

The good SA premier has invited me nominate for the Nuclear Fuel Cycle Royal Commission Citizens' jury. Yay.
Minor problem that I'll be in Asia for one of the weekends. More than happy to fly back for the weekend if they select me.
