Damn I hate that Murphy fella. The one day I decide to casually get up and get ready, and work from home; and a major event happens at one of my clients! D'oh! Better get moving

I know the Murphy fellow quite well. Deployments go smoothly, unless you have organised to be somewhere straight afterwards.

Yep, core switch went down. It runs off a UPS, so strange! Nice easy fix, just installed a new one

What about the poor people in Hobart-35C tomorrow. The poor little things will die of shock.:p:p:p

Certainly was very little humidity today in Melbourne with 38°.
From the BOM site. Highest Melbourne temp was 38.1deg at 4pm with a dew point of 7.8deg and RH of 16%.

In Melbourne it is currently 11:30pm and 29.5deg, a dew point of 14.3deg and RH of 39%.

A marked difference in Sale (210km East) with a max of 26.8deg at 3pm with a dew point of 14.4deg and RH of 46%.

In Sale it is currently 11:30pm and 17.4deg, a dew point of 15.7deg and RH of 90%.

How can the weather in Sale be so good and Melbourne so bad; is it due to where the weather station is sitting.

Blissfully unaware of the 37 degree heat until I left work - when it suddenly hit me like a wall. :-| A few post-work coughtails at 1806 were a welcome relief.

Yes, I was also unaware of how warm it got outside.. the bliss of a properly working ac system!!! But walking outside was akin to walking into an oven!

I went to see Lamb (songs you might know: Goreki, Cotton Wool, Gabriel) last night at the Prince Bandroom .. sub-par ventilation and the heat made for a sweaty night. But wow, what a show! :D

It was 33.4deg here at 11:00am and getting hotter quickly. Makes me look forward to New Year on the Gippsland Lakes even more.

It is now 34.9deg at 11:30 :!:
