It never used to be like this. I don't know what's happening here. Friday was the heaviest rain and largest hail I've ever seen here in Adelaide.

Adelaide got Winds.....well get in touch with your local Windfarm supplier.....bugger solar panels get a tri windmill thing installed?

The vergola is a great idea but in Adelaide it would be like a furnace in mid summer as the metal heats up. That is, if we ever get another summer!
No not at all. We have one in BNE and the slats are hollow so provide insulation plus being an opening roof, the heat of the roof crates even further convection currents. Highly recommend them! Dropped our deck temp by over 10 degrees and allows breeze in.

I am honestly not looking forward to the cost of replacing an RFID car key...

Toyota landcruiser RFID fob cost:
$650
$88 to program it
$25 to get blank backup metal key
$15 to cut backup metal key (opens door only)

Programming a new RFID fob requires an existing RFID fob

There is no way to program a new RFID fob to an existing car if you dont have a working spare

Im told by Toyota Service if you have lost all RFID fobs the immobiliser computer needs to be replaced which in the Toyota Landcruiser requires the dashboard to be removed and a new blank immobiliser computer replaced. Approx $4000 plus the cost of 2 new fobs etc etc etc.

As soon as you lose / break one RFID fob get a new one ASAP.

Just been through the key issue with all keys stolen (house broken into) on two cars. BMW stolen (5 years old).

Holden Astra 2006 left there!

BMW:
$100 to order key to get into car. That's all it does. 7-10 day delivery from Germany. Then car towed to dealer for new locks and programming. Cost $3650 not including towing.

Astra: $1100 for full set including labour etc. from dealer.

Locksmith (for Astra). $450 which includes breaking into car. $550 if call out after hours.

Would be worth discussing with locksmith but if it's a new car, then you're snookered.

The most arduous part of preparing job applications is not the CV, but the cover letter.

Especially if the cover page represents 33% of the CV

2009 VW golf which still uses traditional key which turns the ignition switch cannot be easily broken into.
I locked keys in car when I accessed the boot. I inadvertently left the keys in the boot. When I closed the hatch it automatically locks the entire car. Unlocking the hatch using the remote only causes the hatch to autolock when it is closed. Need to unlock the doors as well to disable this feature.

Called NRMA road service - was told the only way to get into car was via a spare key (50km away in the house) or break the window. NRMA guy drove me home so I could get spare and returned me to car.

Went to VW service week after to get the fob remote reprogrammed to disable auto lock.

Still managing up to 4 cups of coffee a day. Decent coffee machine (or barista if I can be bothered to walk to my sister building) helps.
As for Coke, rarely drink it now. If I do it's Coke Zero or Pepsi Max. No need for all that sugar!

I can't get the same buzz out of Coke that I used to, either on a caffeinated or pleasure point of view. It's just a lot of sugar to me.

I'll still drink it if offered in some circumstances. Even though it likely has more sugar in it, I'd probably take fruit juice instead.

Trying to learn to not survive on coffee. I still like the taste that I can't give it up.

Unlike coke, coffee's actually good for you. 3-4 cups a day and you may live longer..., or not as your genome defines.
