They always knew it would be a dead test match which means that the Adelaide Day Nighter will be awesome.

Believe me, it could get a lot worse. And did, for me, around this time last year.

will we get to 47 is the question now!

Isnt that the hope of those "dont bring any home cooked or raw meat or fish products into Au TV shows" all about?

Ok re flight question, if not here, where to ask if not here?

Maybe on ANZ as a separate topic?

shame you couldn't bring small bottles/jars/containers of the others to find out for next time. As you are declaring the worst that can happen is you loose them
Should I be declaring curry powder?

Am at the Test match, members stand ( enclosed), which is packed. Big Bronx cheer from the Members when Aussies crept past lowest ever Aust. test score of 42. 6/43 is beyond disgraceful.

it will rain before Tea and pour tomorrow and maybe Monday ( remember when cricket was a summer game  ) but that probably won't be enough to save this lot. All should donate their match fee to charity.

A couple of years ago it was 44 degrees for the pageant and the week before similar temps. This year we have had just two days over 30 and today is cold, wet and windy. By mid December last year we had endured 3 weeks of 40 degree heat waves. What happened to summer?

Global cooling

Should I be declaring curry powder?

Should you stick to the speed limit when driving or declare all of your income..... ?

Doesn't it ask if you have / are carrying any food, do you eat it?

I just declare everything and put it in an easy to reach place in the case, and they always wave me through - don't take risks not declaring, they have ways of smelling things.

It can't be too expensive to buy where you are, so I'd certainly buy it all, esp if it is your wife's favourite.

You have to declare food which means you go through the Red channel.officer usually asks what we have-"packaged curry paste".is that all."yes".Ok off you go.

You do not have to declare "Food" any more but you do need to declare the following:

Don't alwaysstick to speed limit and not always declared all my income.

Last trip I asked about 3 packets of Lays I stole from SIN BA lounge and was told don't be silly it is sealed food.

P.S. The cricket team is pathetic. Hope Voges is in team for Indian tour so his average gets down to respectable 40 odd otherwise someone in future will look at his average and think he was a test cricketer.

I'm sure I'm over insured when we travel... Hope to never find out by needing to claim.

I have claimed. Several times. I do not regret over insuring one bit. I've always found claims have been promptly settled.
These are the claims I've made over the last 30 years.
1. Back surgery required so cancellation.
2. Theft of bag in Vietnam.
3. Loss of bag in NY taxi.
4. Flight cancellation requiring extra day in Hong Kong.
5. Motor accident in Thailand.
6. Cancellation of trip this year due to DVT.

What's the weather like in Hobart? Cricket test match could be over tomorrow evening.
