Processed food is usually ok. Curry powder definitely yes. I have brought back ground spices with no problems. Oyster sauce should be ok since it is "processed". Is the coconut milk bottled or tinned by a manufacturer? If yes, most likely ok. If home made, might be more difficult.
Everything was processed and sealed by manufacturer. I've let my wife bring the curry powder and some other powder. Left behind Oyster sauce, soy sauce, coconut milk and chicken flavour as those are too heavy and we can easily get in Sydney.

At least the electricity is still on. What are SA households doing for backup electricity?.

Several blackouts which is understandable given the nature of the storm. Good news - our roof repairs held. Bad news for neighbours opposite - both duplex verandahs full of holes.

shame you couldn't bring small bottles/jars/containers of the others to find out for next time. As you are declaring the worst that can happen is you loose them

Coconut milk in cans is readily available in mainstream supermarkets, a bigger selection in Asian grocery stores. I would buy locally.

Praying?..

Naughty....

Maybe that's why we have so many churches?

Agree. The only thing I would think of bringing to Australia is commercially packaged saffron and Vanilla beans as they are so expensive here. Anything else can be purchased here especially from Asian supermarkets.

I was a member of a gym a few years ago. Their manner of doing business is not exactly consumer friendly so I did not renew membership.

Yesterday I received an email from them that contained a virus. I knew that and so did the right thing and forwarded it to them explaining their site had been compromised.

Today they sent an email to all their members plus others (me) stating what had happened. The trouble is, they did not BCC it. So every single members email is now open to everyone else. I can see quite a few people I know on the list plus several people from legal firms. The list must contain hundreds of emails - too many to count.

I have now sent them an appropriately worded reply. They are in for a bad day.

They always knew it would be a dead test match which means that the Adelaide Day Nighter will be awesome.

Believe me, it could get a lot worse. And did, for me, around this time last year.

David Warner is back in the pavilion so he can watch Cardoons.
Is that on his olea something TV? What a dreadful ad that is.

Christmas pageant is currently on in Adelaide on Gem.

A couple of years ago it was 44 degrees for the pageant and the week before similar temps. This year we have had just two days over 30 and today is cold, wet and windy. By mid December last year we had endured 3 weeks of 40 degree heat waves. What happened to summer?

It came to Whyalla yesterday-40C.struggling to get to 24C today and a cold wind blowing.

(If) Lets say you or I had a subclass of J seat booked on (Air) NZ for a 777/787 flight Au to NZ with lounge access, and NZ equipment swaps to a 320 with no J or subclass if it, what does (Air) NZ do.
Still give lounge access? Plus Works Deluxe seat?
Havent asked (Air) NZ in an official capacity yet but thought I would ask here first.
Has it happened to anyone on here?
Ta for any info.
