Some person of dubious parentage has tried to buy some fashionable apparel for themselves out of the US and Canada using my credit card info. Very displeasing since I was just about to cancel that card as well. Now I'll have to wait while the fraud process plays out. They had interesting tastes though. Tried to buy shoes from some joint in Beverley Hills called Tieks.

Trying for a World CC seeing Qudos is about to be obsolete for my spending.
Have not had a fraud on a CC for quite some time. My last problem was with a pre-used gift card that was 20% off. It should have been 120% off so I back charged it.

I know that Moderators quite often have a thankless task, but I do want to thank them very much for splitting off the election stuff. :)

On a side note, can you develop dyslexia? I've never been known for my great spelling, but lately it seems to have become a lot worse!

Mods always spilt discussion topics that end up with a life of their own, which is a good thing.

Went into a jbhifi today to look and seek info on 3 items.....
Pixel xl..... No service
Dell alienware laptop.... Did not have on shelf and..... No service
Mavic pro.... No service
Note I invested my time in each area for at least 15 minutes..... Ignored!

Sick and tired of stupid flight delays that seem to follow me everywhere. I've been waiting ~3h since QF23 arrived and flight to Chiang Mai was due to depart in ~1h and arrive there 8:50pm. Now there's a 25 minute delay. :( No big deal right?

Have booked a Hertz car for 9:00pm. Hertz office closes 9:00pm. They want THB1,070 to remain open another 15 minutes. Not paying. Now need to get taxi to hotel and taxi back again in morning. :(

And you don't believe in jinxed? Lay down mazaire without any doubt....

Poor speller too. Misere hey?

The 5 flights early or on time followed 9 flights in a row delayed. Very poor statistics for an individual. It's almost as if....

Past post asking about preferences for Hallelujah. Leonard Cohen passed away at 82.

LEONARD Cohen has died at the age of 82.

A statement posted on the singer’s official Facebook page said: “It is with profound sorrow we report that legendary poet, songwriter and artist, Leonard Cohen has passed away.
“We have lost one of music’s most revered and prolific visionaries.

A long and productive life. RIP.

Yowsers. Huge thunderstorm and huge (for Adelaide) hail right now. On a galvanised iron roof it sounds like gunshot.

After 25 days on a cruise ship I have now gone for almost 24 hours without talking Sabres, Mirages, F-111, F18 and all other types of Military flying.
So now it will be onto AFF flying this evening :!:

Processed food is usually ok. Curry powder definitely yes. I have brought back ground spices with no problems. Oyster sauce should be ok since it is "processed". Is the coconut milk bottled or tinned by a manufacturer? If yes, most likely ok. If home made, might be more difficult.

I have brought back pieces of melon and pineapple preserved in brine/vinegar and the custom officer did not even bat an eyelid. Overall, I find the custom officers in Sydney most easy to deal with compared to other ports - in case you are returning via Sydey.
