Anything hanging over the fence is public pickings?
They were not hanging over the fence.

Who walks around with scissors? Sometimes they would come inside the gate to cut flowers. Since the chicken mesh went up the cutting of flowers has ceased.

Just a general question :p

Cant believe the cheek of people.

My elderly next door neighbor had me going through her recycling bin as it was full and she hadn't filled it. She was concerned someone had come into her yard. Groan. Got half way through it and she recognized a name on an envelope. Turned out her son who is 65 and a Doctor put his cough in her bin and didn't bother to tell her. I had dealings with him a few months later over a fence. Classic a*hole.

My mother in law gave me a bag of tomatoes, that I brought into the office today to share.

You know the difference, when you cut into a home grown tomato - full of flesh and not water and empty space, like the store bought ones.
No comparison. The tomatoes at home are full and sweet and tasty. Dad still had tomatoes in June/July this year.

He is doing the garden again this year but this could be the last. He will turn 79 in a few months and has had enough. Taking care of the garden takes a lot of effort.

Must've been awkward. Known each other for a while?

13yrs. I told him that I've either finally lost my mind or I just want him to trust me to get what we were talking about done and was dismissing the subject like I would with my husband.

Neither is good. Opps.

Widespread blackouts last night across South Australia at 1am. Hardly peak time and it was cool. Pathetic.
