I would have said the same. They have a purpleish berry that leaves juice everywhere. Nothing like people walking through the berries then on to your carpet. And the bird poop is a pain.

Interesting case of road rage yesterday from a guy who decided he should get to drive down the middle of the road and took offence to me trying to pass him in the opposite direction. Drove head on at me, then angled accross the front of my car and screamed abuse at me. I ignored and moved around him, then parked in front of my mum's place. So he went around the block, pulled up next to me and screamed some more abuse. Wrote down his rego details but not quite sure what to do about it.

We had a crazy next door neighbour like that. We lived on a narrow street admittedly but he disliked anyone who drove down our street who didnt live there. Came to a head where he actually bailed up someone (young guy) and would not let him through. There is no room to do a U Turn and the poor guy was just stuck there while the neighbour had a rant at him and blocked him. We finally intervened after he was there for a few minutes.
Yet this neighbour thought it perfectly acceptable to park the front half of his Semi trailer in the street and service it there. I can only imagine the road rage if you blighted him on the open highway. And his wife would often sweep the road in front of her house with a dustpan and broom. Mad as a cut snake they were.

This is a female lillipilly. We had a huge one in our driveway and the same issue drove me bonkers. Purple everywhere.

Years ago a bat was zapped and fell down from the overhead wires one night and landed in our front yard (I was actually going to my car at the exact moment it was zapped)

My husband and I crept up to it, very slowly, to see if it was alive... no idea what we would have done if we found it dead or in need of care but slowly, slowly we crept up on it.

Then the damned thing moved!

And we were last seen as per below sample

Lilly-pilly fruit make very nice breakfast preserves (jelly to North Americans since it is normally strained to remove the fiber bits) pinkish - purplish result. Slightly tart.

My peaches and nectarines are netted. The parrots have noticed but are so far deterred...

Petrol cars don't have fuel filters anymore. These days there's are strainers (for life of vehicle) within the fuel tank. The fuel washes the strainers so all the dirt stays in tank.

Before I decided on a VW Golf, I had a look at the Holden Astra. Quite a nice car except it uses premium petrol.
Im 185cm tall and can fit quite easily in a Mini (car) as well. Years of sitting in whY trains the body to fit into small spaces.

It was meant as a little in-joke wind-up between me and The RTMA​. But he responded rather passively. Must be getting old... .

Pass it on to the police. They may not do anything with the info apart from log it, but if they get enough complaints he will get a visit.

That I have done. They said they would ring him for a chat, and also log it in case similar reports come in. If he hadnt come back for a second go, I would never got his rego so he was his own undoing.

My wife is still waiting for her expensive birthday present from October.

I have a mature mulberry tree in the backyard which attracts the bats and spend a number of weeks hosing purple poop patches off the sandstone pavers. Drives me nuts!

Back to the car park madness...had a person from work (who I deal with) back into my car in the work car park. Her explanation was that her parking sensors did not beep, meaning she was not even looking in her mirror or at a camera at the time. Just blindly reversed until crunch! She did leave me a note (not knowing who's car it was) and it was with great amusement that I revealed it was my car. High on the list of 'people at work whose car you should not hit' is those that belong to the lawyers...

Mulberries perhaps - they're ripe now. Currawongs and others come to get them from next door. Previous owner used to cut tree to ground height before they got to flower, but current owner has let it flower etc this year with consequent purple stains on deck. Means we can't hang washing out until the tree has been decimated.
