Has anyone bought the new Dyson hairdryer? Any comments on whether it is really good.

I recall seeing a TV review with hairdressers, they didn't feel it was as good as the average dryer.

I love Dyson but that's a lot of money for a hair dryer.

I have to say I felt let down by the Americans. The Parade for the 75th Anniversary was not up to normal standards with long gaps and to my mind poorly arranged.
However earlier I went to the 25th division event at Fort DeRussy. It was fully arranged by the military and was brilliant. Not many visitors and I had a front row seat.after the show was over I got to talk to this fellow-

I have a pandora bracelet that I was given. I don't wear it often but I do love it as I've collected charms from all the places I've visited.

Just spent 45 minutes continuously whisking a lemon curd to thicken. I wonder if it's possible to over thicken a curd (I know you could scramble it, but I didn't do that).

Must be a faster way of making curd...maybe I should have used a wider pot.

That is why it comes in jars. No shortcuts. And even doing it the right way it can still scramble.

Now this queue I understand.

But wait. Where is the jolly old fat man? (Is it PC to say this anymore? :o)

Oh. Here he is. A bit late.

The excited screams of the kids brings a smile to everyone's faces.

What's so special about Karen Millen. Never heard of it and Googled it and still don't know what's so special that you need to queue.

Fat old man is ok in my book. See one in the mirror everytime. Not always jolly though. ;)

Nothing special about Karen Millen - it was the empty Santa Chair I was trying to capture plus the queue!

Hmmmm, should take 5 or 6 minutes at most?

Not sure what your doing wrong? You should be whisking whilst still over a low heat, preferably using a bain-marie set up.

Perhaps too much lemon juice or the eggs were not whisked before adding to the mixture? Uffff!
