Did my first walk in months. I use to walk to work a couple of times per week (5klms) but that stopped about May so today I managed a 40mins walk, up the big hill and back home.
Hope to do it again tomorrow, take it a day at a time.
Good on you Denali.
Following medical advice (and a friend on this forum), I try to walk 150 mins per week for exercise.
(That's 30 mins per day, 5 days per week). You do feel better for it. It is very easy to live a sedentary life in this modern age.

Oh good lord. It gets worse.
Saw a bunch of women 65+ all dressed oddly alike in either white pants or skirt with bright floral shirt in the CBD this morning. All quite la-di-da and painfully unaware of how loud their voices were in the lift. On the ground floor there were hordes more. Sure enough they entered the 'secret door' that gives access to Adelaide's Adelaide Club.
Melbourne has become complaint central with its choked up arterial roads. When you have a downturn with the car industry folding and the aluminum smelter teetering you may find your State Government banging on about having no funds to do big infrastructure. Your State has already spent the gambling taxes and land taxes so it looks like toll roads will proliferate.
Looking at Melb apartments this Saturday. Gulp.
