Wow it is quite a few years since our children were little. They do grow up and they are not exactly a copy of us as many things have changed. Many adult children fly way more at an earlier age than we ever did.
I can still rememember the food on the floor thing from a high chair being an early game.....
And our dog used to sit under the high chair waiting :)

The modern equivalent I guess is the US drug under the brand name Exederin - combining aspirin, paracetamol and caffeine (250/250/65mg respectively - recommended dose 2 tablets).

Some people with 'migraine' swear by them.

I use Cafergot. - Now has to be made by a compound chemist.

Cafergot Ssuppositories contain the activeingredients, ergotamine tartrate andcaffeine. Ergotamine belongs to agroup of medicines known as the"ergot alkaloids." Caffeine helpsergotamine work better and faster byincreasing its absorption into thebody.

Pandas. If there is one species that shouldn't have survived its pandas.

Angry Panda is not happy to read this! :)

Haha I think we're sorted, thank you. Wine goes into storage next week.

They wouldnt if people didn't keep interfering...

But their fertility period is so tenuous. 36 hours a year and usually a single birth. Now they can't breed without human help. And not even then for our Adelaide pandas.

Which is why they shouldnt survive; their "fitness" is low. If a species cannot breed without human intervention then natural selection is working against it and it should die out.

Ah. Silly me. I thought you were saying the opposite! In that case we agree. :p

I don't think many people do. Natural Selection doesn't operate by 'random acts'.
Yes. Babies developing on auto-pilot is a result of natural selection. The programming inside each and every baby to behave in almost the same way is natural selection. You keep believing that's the case.

I'll just continue to be naive and think that's rubbish.
