Victorian weather is being fickle as usual. Forecast 30C today and approaching 11am it's made 19C and raining.
Not complaining though compared to Bucharest where our daughter currently is.

Long shot, but does anyone here have the Brisbane Entertainment Book with an unused Alliance Française voucher?

Friend on the south coast of Croatia, says the wind chill is -18. Plus winter has come to Dubrovnik (Kings Landing).

Our SA Weather Bureau. Where is the accountability? We need some competition.

Forecast (for the last week including as late as last night): 10 year storm today. Winds up to 90 kmh. 40 mls rain in metro area, 80 in Hills. Sandbags handed out yesterday. Flash flooding expected in Hills and metro area.
Reality: no wind. Drizzling rain, no more than 4 mls I'd say. Clearing up this afternoon.

They either overamp or fail to predict. We know that if we have an unpredicted storm then the next time there is a change, they will do overkill.

Seriously pathetic.

Merely 2 more years and she'll be in high school already.

Yes, only two more years of primary school for QF WP's daughter and my daughter. I'm more worried about schoolies, though.
Hopefully my Little Miss's stash of points will pay for her to go to Europe or the US or somewhere, rather than have her go to the coast!!

She's in Brisbane with me. She's is doing ok. She's learning fast.

Oh my, I'm not telling my Little Miss 10. She loves babies, and any kids younger/shorter than she is. She loves going up to and playing with little ones; always has.

Looks like have to move desks again. Not sure if temporary or permanent. There are only 3-4 spare desks. Think this is the 13th time since moving to this level in May 2012.

This is not fun.

Generally you get one stuff up in anything, then you always get the overreact. Looking past climate change, is our weather becoming more volatile?

I am quite convinced your office is going to be the basis for the movie Office Space 2.

I don't think so. The media and age of the internet means we just hear about it more from all over the world and then it gets sensationalized as that's what gets the attention.

A coworkers husband quit his GM position for a global company to become a learner driver instructor.

He just had a student that wound down the window, screaming, "get out of the way" to pedestrians as she was driving.
