Oh, like QLD?? :p:lol:;)

Eh, whadda youse know? :p

Nah, most of Australia knows enough about wine not to add ice in it. We won't even add ice in beer, and it's clear that most people want to drink their beer nice and cold, no matter what the weather is outside. (Who drinks lukewarm beer?)

That's why I like Silverseas - opening dining - you can sit with different people every night or have a table for 2 - the choice is yours !

Certainly agree re open dining. Cunard is the last bastion of fixed meal times.

If you want to put ice in your wine, go ahead. Providing it's white, not red!

There are many good places to visit in India and having travelled there quite a lot I can see how people may be put off.
However in my opinion Jordan is well worth a visit, there is more to see than just Petra, Madaba is well worth quite a bit of time on its own. It's unfortunate that Syria is in the process of self destruction, glad I saw a few parts of it when I had the chance.
There are other places in Jordan worth visiting, Amman is a bit forgetable, but Jerash is definitely on the list of places to see, so much history, you can't go wrong.
Loved Jerash, we were there just 6 months ago. Fabulous tour guide. We were only 5km from the Syrian boarder at one stage.

I've seen some people put ice to cool down red wine, i.e. I'm not talking about a wine with a red colour that you might drink cold (e.g. some sparkling reds). Why you might like to drink reds cold, I'm not entirely sure. Reds are meant mostly to be tasted or for warming, not really for refreshing.

I'm not sure if sangria is served chilled with ice or not.

thank god :):):):)

Pun intended... but agreed!

Growing up, I remember getting 10 or 20 cents and feeling rich. Im currently contemplating a $24.00 ice-cream.

Strange world.

Does anyone else remember when there was a Death By Chocolate at Neutral Bay? Don't think that cost $24 back then.

The photo reminds me of Swensens in Honolulu !!

There's a place in SF that has "The kitchen sink" ice-cream, it's huge.

You can also eat the entire thing to get it for free but no thanks, I enjoy food. Shoving it down, trying not to vomit isn't enjoyable.

When in China, we went to a Hagenvaz and we had this large chocolate ball. They poured hot chocolate sauce over it and it collapsed and inside was lots of small ice cream balls. So yummy!
