Started cleaning up the rental property and found this. Needs a clean up but otherwise looks good.

Do they still have money boxes at the bank?

Interesting discussion MrP had this afternoon on a flight Auckland - Sydney. Was seated next to another RADelaidian. She mentioned she had spent many many dollars over the last few years with Qantas being WP1 a few years and WP a few years but the last year dropped back to gold. This trip she had broken her toe. Like all RADelaidians, we tend to travel on AirNZ for the direct flight Adelaide - Auckland then work our way back on Qantas via Syd or Melbourne. She said that AirNZ with whom she had no status, went out of their way to make her comfortable with a spare seat to put her leg on. Qantas - despite her many years of very high levels of loyalty and $ spend - nothing.

An interesting site at T3 in Sydney today. A small tractor (things used to move planes around, I think one of the remote control ones) managed to bash its way through a concrete wall of the terminal. No plane attached when I saw it.

Wow, probably needed quite a run up.

Air NZ looked after me fantastically when I was travelling in a moon boot - ensuring I had an empty space beside me too.

Anyone here have an occlusal splint? If so, any ball parks on cost? I have costing from my dentist of around $900 and get back about $400 from health insurance.

They are adamant I am grinding my teeth at night - I used to as I'd wake up doing it but don't do that now however they've shown me the damage to my teeth and I'm getting nerve pain. I'm also biting my tongue in my sleep and that hurts a lot...

Huh? You must be tough. I struggle with anything below 23.

I hate humidity and heat.

.......

I used to work in a supermarket in Falls Creek.
Amazing what a few cable ties could achieve.

I never liked Falls Creek - primarily because of the monopoly that is the Falls Creek Oversnow who control that last mile even when the roads are clear.

No Idea. But "The Checkout" did do a story on Dental charges and the average price for most procedures, however occlusal splint isn't included.

Also kids aged 2 to 17 who receive certain government benefits are entitled to 1000 dollars back from Dentist visits from the government every 2 years.

Oversnow is now run by the resort management board*. And if the roads are clear you can take your own car in for 30 minutes. When you go out to park, they drop you back at your accommodation. It has become rather civilised!

*Edit: still costs a motsa.

Can you wear something like some sort of mouth guard when you sleep?

I think that was a suggestion by my sister (who is a dentist) when I asked what happens if people keep grinding their teeth. I'm not sure it would do much about the biting the tongue habit though.

Yes - the splint is just a fancier name for a mouth guard I suspect!

It won't stop the tongue biting but it will mean less damage and pain!
