Dare one ask why you were flying with a box of barnacles?
Samples for some research I was doing; no other way to get them home from Tassie.

I see these often on boats and stuff while scuba diving but on Dirty Jobs, I saw them being cleared from a harbor boating lane bell/marker thingy and they were disgusting.

The ones I worked on weren't disgusting, but they also arent the ones you find on boats.

Dear sweet, Lord. Watching Mercy Ship and the medical attention required is shocking. We take so much for granted here.

I was hoping some money would randomly appear in front me and it happened. It was only $5 but thinking about it some more I don't think it was random but think someone dropped the money.

Either way my daughter thanks you.

So someone else's bad luck is your good luck?

Which reminds me...how is the cough? (Oh all right, I accept it has nothing to do with monkeys :)) Perhaps should be in the medical thread.

I am better! Really better. I think MrP thought I'd brought home SARS or something.

Is anyone here familiar with the SYD opera house seating? I have never been to anything there and would love some advice on where to select seats

The show I am going to (Scotland the Brave) has a stage extension - so row D will be the first row. The seats up front have a note that they are restricted and below stage level. The platform boxes are sold out. I can get front row of the circle or the middle of the stalls...

Assuming you are talking about the main concert hall?

Yes, its in the main concert hall.

Thanks for the photo, it looks like being below the stage would be ok and shouldn't hinder views of the dancing etc
