According to one news source, protocol is that any announcement would be made by Buckingham Palace at 8am their time - at present 3 hours from now.

Hilarious situation in Mel J Dom. Older chap in business suit quietly reading a work paper. Up strolls a rather chatty woman in a loud voice - obviously knows him - and starts talking. He said he just needs to finish reading his paper and then they can talk. She ignored that and continued to talk. After 5 minutes she says she's hungry and leaves her stuff to go and get food. As soon as she's out of sight original chap packs up his stuff and moves into QP. As it's busy as soon as his seat is vacated another business chap asks if it's vacant. I said I thought so and he sits down. Chatty lady returns to start to talk and realizes her victim has escaped. Funniest look on her face.

Chatty Kathy? :)

obviously said woman is an infrequent Mel J Dom lounger.
lounges should be quiet places

......

This is also about the reports of his death. Nothing on ABC, might check BBC and Guardian.

the BBC would not dare speculate about this

I can't imagine the Queen abdicating - I believe she will die as Queen.

This is the ONLY time that twitter is useful or if something bad is going on in a location nearby.

Agree with this. On both counts.

The Queen has an incredible sense of duty.

Said woman just moved next to me. On the phone now. Of course.

Buckingham Palace denies reports Prince Philip, Queen Elizabeth have died | Newshub
I agree, I would not expect any rumours on BBC but if there had been something official, thought they might beat ABC.

So it appears he still lives on. Well that's good. They are certainly made of stern stuff, the royals.

Made the internet as a hoax as well :)
