Poor Miss Daisy got beaten up this afternoon, requiring a trip to the vet to check out the hole in her cheek. Pain relief and antibiotics have been prescribed.

Must be the season.

Parents have just signed up for a townhouse. We could be moving within a couple of months.

What happened? I'm so sorry.

How is the weather up in Edinburgh at the moment Flashback?

Bit grey today, but was sunny and 14 yesterday - very pleasant :) Loving the longer days, perfect for a walk up to Arthur's seat once I get back to my hotel in the evening.

Och aye laddie.
I like Edinburgh.

Me too - first trip I ever did to Europe (Hi D2!) it was the last stop. It's like London, but more beautiful. Happy to be working up here on a regular basis. Should really add on a weekend and bring Mrs Flashback up... although she was up here on business earlier this year so we at least went out for a meal!

Hope you're posting in the View from the Office thread!

Nope.... the office I'm in right now is rather dreary!

You have my sympathies! We're still not done but I'm completely over it....

Territorial squabble. The other dog is a biter....I was worried about a cut on her face so we took her to get checked out. There's an actual chunk of her cheek missing, a tear in her ear, a split between two of her toes and a scrape along her nose. Daisy is the bigger dog but she doesnt win these battles at all.

I've likely got a lot less stuff than you (let alone what is sentimental), but it's still going to be a bother sorting it out for throwing out / donations etc.

I keep saying that I sustained an existence in Switzerland for over a year with only about 3-5 suitcases of stuff in total (which had to fit in only one bedroom), but that's not to say that I left a lot of stuff back in Australia and you couldn't veritably say I'd be comfortable if I lost everything that I had left behind (e.g. if the house suddenly burned down).
