Got a bunch of Facebook friends who post constantly about their exciting viewing of Eurovision.

Got another bunch of Facebook friends fervently trying to abstain from Facebook because they can't watch the Eurovision live but don't want spoilers.

The white elephant in the room is how Australia continues to participate in a European contest.

Well I have just seen the KFC golf ad.The song reminds me of my golfing prowess-it went straight down the middle, then it started to hook....

No white elephant, or any particular colour for that matter unless you relate green to £/€/¥/$/

Those votes cost voters same.

SBS keeps paying for the privilege. They must make a bit of cash out of it.

I was in Europe recently and asked a number of people what they thought of Australia in Eurovision. Surprisingly, most didn't think it that odd; often noting that Israel was part of it.

Well Turkey is/was in Eurovision.

The funnest thing about the voting was seeing which country voted for/against a Neighbour and or/Rival. It got a bit ridiculous when they allowed telephone voting.

Watching Eurovision live from Tuscany with a few bottles of Sangiovese, for everything else you need MasterCard! :)

I'm sure there is a Midsomer Murders on the TV somewhere here in Stralsund. Seems not, but there is a "Lewis" dubbed into German, guess that will have to do.

Of all the things we planned to do in Japan - I can honestly say a 1:00am ambulance ride and two hour stay in a Fukuoka ER was not on the list.

The wife was quite ill, although the doctors couldn't figure it out. But some painkillers and rest and all seems to be better.

Flying out in an hour or so.

Stressful night.
