My yard looks like a fruit salad massacre happened. Damned coughatoos are feasting on our fruit trees and throwing fruit everywhere. The roof, lawn, driveway, street has fruit everywhere.

We have two bird baths where there is a definite order of which birds go first and last. The black and red coughatoos have now left our neighbours tree and it is now half a metre shorter and narrower.

I've got Golden Delicious Apples ripening on the tree and thankfully only a couple apples attacked. Saw a sugar glider in the fig tree but not many figs left. Fruit bats look they have retreated back to the parkland on the Yarra.

Once saw a flock of coughatoos demolish a almond tree in my street. Tree never recovered after that. Can understand why Farmers hate them.

Being the eternal footy optimists we have just booked flights for round 23 Fremantle Dockers game in Melbourne.

I am guessing you may have missed the last kick of today's game Flashback. It was a Goal after the siren for a Fremantle Dockers win.
Both WA teams are climbing up the AFL ladder this weekend.

Again?!?! Damned purple buggers.

Is there still time to get MrsGarrettM some Royce chocolates?

Sadly no she missed out. And Changi seems to lack a Royce shop unless I'm mistaken.
Perhaps I can get her some next time, as a sweetener for my idea of taking a solo three week baseball watching tour of Japan.

Managed to blow the fuse for the kitchen, laundry and bathroom tonight - it's an electrician's job unfortunately. Have managed to hook the fridge up on an extension cord but washing machine and dishwasher were mid cycle.

Am apprehensive that the hot water cylinder runs on the same line too.

Suggest you shower tonight.....

I think HWSs are 15 amp so should be a separate circuit.
