We were standing on a wall, so not much opportunity, and I like it anyway.

It's a beautiful photo. And very important for you as it captured a special moment in your lives. Boo hiss to the rest of ya! ;) :p

On another note, why is it that fire alarm batteries only start to chirp a low battery at 4am.

No, I'll only somehow dig my hole deeper and wider :o :(.

I'll just make a point of catching up with your and TomVexille next time I'm in MEL so we can celebrate the momentous occasion of your marriage - probably next month

No. You recreate the pose in the lounge and post what you think it should look like :)

Apparently the expiry date of the remaining credit in Skype is extended eacht time one uses. Was it Coles or Woolworths that had 40% off Skype $25 vouchers recently?

Look at Ozbargain for recent 50% Skype GC sales. You will get FB points at C but not WW points IIRC.

As I have mentioned Skype regularly gives one month free to most countries which is very useful if you have a number of family accounts. ;)

In hindsight I should have returned my phone earlier. Its now almost three years old but has had constant battery issues, can barely find a wifi network, and now the GPS has no idea where I am. I think its time to take a jump from the Apple ship.

Is that a line for the "You know you are a frequent flyer" thread? :)

GPS tried to get me to drive up the mountain in Queenstown, to get to the restaurant up there.

I might have to go to android. Not able to get both hearing aids to pair at the same time on my iPhone6 - it's OK for either left or right but not both. Seems to be quite a few posts on the support board about it :(

I need Skype on my mobile. Is that possible on different accounts?

And then there is the lack of headphone jack in the new iPhone. I often listen to radio apps at night while charging the phone. I know those wifi headphones are going to go missing. Even the sellers give up when I tell them I use the two functions (listening and charging) together.

They recommend that you don't use your phone while it is charging for safety reasons.

I've been doing it for ages. Also many people use portable chargers and use the phone at the same time. Probably a cya suggestion.

Oh dear. I use my phone all the time while phone is charging.

As do I. I have an unlimited plan thanks to Aldi and only call on my mobile. I regularly have the power bank connected for long calls.

Once NBN is connected early next year I can get a different ISP and lose the land line.

If you're interested in the Aldi unlimited plan it will be back on sale on 28 June.

Just watching Bloomberg channel on TV and they are discussing Qatar's USD800mil unsolicited offer for 10% of AA - the 'expert' they went to for input stated that the 3 major US carriers have been lobbying US Govt officials to 'Try to curb the growth of ME carriers!'

So what imm imm springs to mind? Laptop / electronic device bans on flts from Gulf origins maybe?

boomy found a good one with Kogan I think. 8GB/month and free calls to anywhere in Australia for ~$25/month but you need to prepay for a whole year.

I'm happy with data from Vodafone and Optus for mobile broadband and want a Samsung S7 from Virgin.
