In hindsight I should have returned my phone earlier. Its now almost three years old but has had constant battery issues, can barely find a wifi network, and now the GPS has no idea where I am. I think its time to take a jump from the Apple ship.

I've been thinking of jumping too. Son highly recommends Samsung. I actually tried out a Samsung 8 on our shared plan but was worried that the latest AFF app doesn't work on it for TR's and I have the old working version on my iPhone! So son received the latest Samsung and is very happy with it. Just not sure I can divorce iTunes even though I hate it.

My son works for Apple, so I will stick with my easy access to discounts and support.
I have a Motorola Moto X as a work phone - hate it.

I have an old iPod so iTunes isnt really an issue. I think the thing i'll miss most is iMessage.

I ipod nano is about 7yrs old, dont want to give it up but I have an app that allows me to transfer files to my Samsung.

And then there is the lack of headphone jack in the new iPhone. I often listen to radio apps at night while charging the phone. I know those wifi headphones are going to go missing. Even the sellers give up when I tell them I use the two functions (listening and charging) together.

Completely missed last nights game; still jetlagged from my US trip, went to bed around 8pm and woke up at 3am, which is better than waking up at 1am on the first night.

I should be right by game 3 which should be a cracker.

My word of the day is "Kontol"

Urban Dictionary: kontol
One of my websites has been hacked, and other than blank white page, is the word "Kontol" - needless to say I have learned its meaning and another one to add to the long list along with shillong, tripod, old fulla, & trouser snake to name a few.

ATO deputy commissioner Michael Cranston warned son before alleged scam exposed

A summons filed by the AFP last week revealed they were attempting to claw back 95 bank accounts, 24 superannuation funds, 18 properties, two planes, two boats and forty go-carts.
A VW Golf belonging to Michael Cranston’s daughter, 24-year-old Lauren, is listed in the documents, as are four motorbikes registered to Adam Cranston.
About two dozen vehicles — including Porsches, Mercedes, Ford Mustangs and Audis — are mentioned in the extensive list which names 65 defendants in total.

If I managed to get my hands on $144mil, I wouldnt be sitting around Sydney like a poser in a porsche and stupid go karts.

I would be found in a place where there are no extradition agreements, living quietly!

Idiots.

A smartphone cannot replace a desktop.

Oh and a lot of mobile websites have reduced functionailty and don't allow access to full website from smartphone.

Could a dock help? That's what I use - charging and a headphone socket. Actually, I just use a lightning adapter in my old universal dock.

I do most of my business operations from my phone (which is probably why I work it into the ground so quickly).

Yes. It would work. Thankyou!

They are a bit flimsy - inasmuch as the iPhone is not well supported (from behind) when docked. If you press too hard on the phone screen you might damage the lightning connector. I find that being "gentle" and using the print recognition on the home button seems to work.

Well I'm barefoot, and he's in shoes :p

Of course, that will make some sense. You should have been standing on the rise in the dune instead to even things up. At least you aren't barefoot and....

Have you ever tried wearing heels on the beach?

No and even if I had, do you think I'd be admitting it here... :o

You've met me, you know I'm not short.
Indeed quite a number of times and yes ;) :D

We were standing on a wall, so not much opportunity, and I like it anyway.

As my wife was until last night, however when she came to check on the score at half time and didn't leave after that - she was moving around in her chair, yelling for Qld to tackle and (well a little) screaming when we scored the two tries in the second half, then finally waiting impatiently and nervously for Jonathan Thurston to slot the conversion for the win. But we will continue to be 3 times a year followers of league - just not my game.

Or somebody that doesn't care about rugby league!

Pfft. Ignore him, its a classic & beautiful shot. You dont have to be "equal", its not a corporate photo - youre looking at each other, happy and in love, sun setting, it doesnt get much better!

Apparently the expiry date of the remaining credit in Skype is extended eacht time one uses. Was it Coles or Woolworths that had 40% off Skype $25 vouchers recently?

Ah, didn't notice that in my viewing of the photo. Thus the way it is...

Yes it does - the obligatory glass of Champagne would have completed the picture. But then again, I don't know at what stage of the ceremony the picture was taken (I'm presuming afterwards). So I'll just go back to my corner, shall I :D :o ;)

Considering I had to shoo away topless sunbathers from my wedding arch, Blackcat is good to go without the champers. She only has 2 hands, one for flowers, one to touch her beloved. Shes not an octopus. :)
