I can't remember the last time I purchased a pen.
A thermomix fits the bill exactly!
I have three extra special ones. A white one from Burj al Arab, a sleek black one from Marina Bay Sands and similarly one from Intercontinental Dubai.
3 thermomix?

The TV in my bedroom just went 'pop' and died.
10yo LG. It is now unplugged and I will investigate it tomorrow.
Do you get pens from pharmaceutical reps? I love those pens. They are a little thicker than the hotel pens.I can't remember the last time I purchased a pen.

Favours from reps have died off (correctly) in recent times due to new regulationsDo you get pens from pharmaceutical reps? I love those pens. They are a little thicker than the hotel pens.
that is really very ethical of you, but clearly there are a lot of doctors still accepting freebiesFavours from reps have died off (correctly) in recent times due to new regulations
I actually never liked those pens.
5 years ago, I stopped going to drug companies sponsored breakfasts lunches or dinners.
I remember going to one about a new NSAID, never prescribed it and within 6 months it got taken off the market
The last straw was for a intravenous fluid called Voluven. It got put into hospital formularies around the country. Not long after it was discovered the German Dr who published a lot of papers on it faked the results.
Drug companies do sponsor stands at Conferences but you have a choice of avoiding them
Have a look and see if they have what you're after - batterydeals.com.au
DO NOT GET TOO TEMPTED WITH THEIR BULK OFFERS.... just buy what you need now.
I use a parcel locker address for most things I buy on line. It's been very good and I can collect it all hours.Ordered a set of Nokian winter tyres from a store in the U.K.
I received the tyres in 5 calendar days. The 4 tyres were just gladwrapped with a freight barcode sticker. And it travelled on QF2
Then I ordered some Uni textbooks from Bookdepository in U.K. Arrived to my daughter via Parcel Collect in Charles Sturt Uni Wagga in 6 calendar days
Bookdepository will freight to a Parcel Collect address!!!
Parcel Collect:https://auspost.com.au/parcels-mail/parcel-collection-delivery/parcel-collect?&ecid=p13616355069
Parcel Collect is essentially a free holding service at a post office for parcels . (Conditions apply) great for daughter who lives in student accom in Uni and thus don't have a proper mailing address. We did not want a PO Box because many online sellers won't post to a POBox. Parcel Collect is free.
So her address in Wagga looks like this:
Ms Quickstatus, Parcel Collect xx_xx_xx_x
460 Valder Way
Charles Sturt University NSW 2xx_
460 Valder way is the physical street address of the Post Office
Parcel Collect xx_xx_xx_ is Ms Quickstatus unique identifier.
Note parcel collect identifier is on same line as name. It should only be on the top line, never the second line
In fact she could use the same Parcel Collect xx_xx_xx_ for any post office in Australia that supports Parcel Collect (not all do)

Probably better for the medical thread, but yes, if there is a profession that is so arrogant as to think they are immune to the advertising of drug reps it would be the doctors, unfortunately.that is really very ethical of you, but clearly there are a lot of doctors still accepting freebies
Drug companies spent $287 million in four years on 'educational' events for doctors
I am sure they will argue it doesn't affect their independence. ....
Lots of teflon tape?Alright update on the non draining dishwasher.
Tried baking powder and vinegar as per you tube video.
Rang fisher and paykel.... Told $142 to come out but no one available.... Would have to put in request.
Discovered F&P have updated their system and have my name but no info on last service call.
Found receipt for 2003!
Asic says business name ceased for fantastic service tech I had then.
Was told on another forum check spigot.
Concerned about DIY attempt.
Could not get hose off spigot while pipes attached to sink.
Eventually removed/unscrewed sink drain P pipe.... Which worried about reconnecting and getting leaks.
Cleaned spigot. Cleaned p pipe. Used bottle brush cleaned pipe from sink hole to p pipe connection. Reattached. Dishwasher drains. LEAKS in connections of P pipe now . Rang Reece, rang plumbing plus. Seeking Caroma P pipe and washers after internet search. Visited Reece got generic washer.... Not exact same but got em free(had to pick myself off floor). Installed new washer leaks! Called Caroma. Retry to get alignment of pipes. Plumbing plus wanted $46 for Caroma P pipe. Rang Caroma, have new designs that I'm concerned wont fit current plumbing setup $25. Bunnings special order required $24 to get it. Test for leaks cold run, hot tap only run, fill sink and undo plug. Run dishwasher drain and run tap in sink. Also review after 24 hrs due to time delayed leak.
Not sure if alignment or Bur in top of old P pipe connection to sink pipe. Ice cream container under pipes so I can put away stuff under sink (big space but removable shelf). 24 hrs no leak on light use of hot/cold running tap. Any other suggestions ideas before I put away stuff stored under sink and reinstall shelf?
seems they are pretty robust:
