Speaking of birds, there were way too many people at the 'Eagles Nest', but it is still school holidays here.
I had to think for a minute. When I was a kid in Victoria we used to caravan at Inverloch every year. One of our little excursions was always to Eagle's Nest which was a rock stack along the Cape Paterson road. We used to clamber down a steep path down the cliff to the beach (and my mother carrying little sister who was a toddler). In those days (late 50s/early 60s) the stack was quite impressive. It's almost gone now I think, eroded by the sea.

Good to see people actually being held accountable

Well yes, although as the comments to the article point out, there's a huge difference between being ordered to pay costs, and actually recovering them. As a posted states, the 'penalty' for all this disruption was actually a three-year probation. This in itself is not the deterrent that I think many would be looking for.

And if the airline saw the passenger was disruptive before the flight took off, why did they still take off with the passenger? The airline is not to be congratulated for trying to hold the passenger accountable, it should be asked why it allowed passengers (and crew) to be in that situation in the first place.

Prevention is better than the cure.

This is a funny one in the USA, because we've heard plenty of stories where staff have seemed to remove someone who is exhibiting "hostile" or "disturbing" behaviour, only to have said person complain and be apologised to later.

On top of that, given that on-time departure is king in the USA, the temptation to meet that KPI would have likely exceeded the rather menial task of needing to arrange to have said passenger removed. Whether or not you want to argue that this is essentially putting safety of passengers at risk in exchange for profit (or a non-safety KPI) is debatable.

We saw Book of Mormon last night. We had been duly warned by the kidlets in the family. Oh Gawd. What a hoot. The writers (South Park) must have been on something. It was great to have a good laugh.

Not so happy were the people behind us who had bought their tickets by viagogo. I know we paid a lot for these tickets and they would have paid another premium. They were removed from the Theatre as their seats must have been duds? The attendant was trying to sort out a seating mess and had names etc attached to seats. Asked them outright if they had purchased them through viagogo and asked them to leave with him. It was a packed house so I don't know what happened to them :o

We used viagogo to purchase tickets to the first AFL match this year and the seats were fabulous. But clearly this isn't always the case.

Which she chose personally :)
Has she got toy clubs get?
Not yet. Took her to golf course yesterday. She enjoys being out in open.

Hope your wife is feeling better.
Getting better but still a way to go. She now has a cold as well.

And if shes anything like you, she made sure she got the best deal ever!
Excellent deal. Got the price down to $675 at Drummond Golf then went to local golf club and they matched price down to $640. I have $255 pro shop credit plus $145 in golf vouchers meaning I will pay $240. And then get the GST back (around $60) in 3 weeks time. ;)

I've read several reports of cases where people have used viagogo and have been sold fraudulent tickets. Not sure I would take the risk now.

Or the tickets have been sold multiple times, so only the first people to turn up actually get in.

That's a real possibility. Although in this case people already seated were asked to leave. So the newcomers must have bought the original ticket as he read their names out from a list - presumably provided by ticketek or whomever the theatre contracted (Marriner maybe). And the newcomers didn't seem to know what was going on. So they didn't onsell them - or were great actors.
