I copped a dose of flu and dropped almost 5kgs over 2 weeks. So much for the flu shot this year. I should have had one in California but didn’t. My fat cells are disappointed at the moment.

I read somewhere that the flu shot is only 50% effective, I hope you have recovered.

Apparently they select which influenza types to cover each year. This year they missed the mark.

The year we had company paid for flu shots, what the highest year of winter illness sick leave.... until this year.

This year we had 3 waves of flu, the most recent was the flu shot person and she claimed she had never been this sick in her life before. I was extremely pissed at some staff for coming in sick as dogs and I had to tell them to go home.

So far I have managed to not be affected so fingers crossed I didnt just jinx myself.

Well I am a triple platinum as well as being a lifetime platinum.
If anyone tries to pull rank on me in a QF queue I am likely to tell them I am Life time plat.Just forget to say it is on AA.
Also plat in SPG and Marriott.
Next year I qualify for LTP with SPG so I can be a double lifetime plat.

We've been talking about points ect since I joined AFF. He's tried before and gave up because it was "too hard" and paid for his last trip to London but I think me telling him I got 2 x J finally made him determine to find a route.
