I have missed every bus/train/tram I have wanted this last few days by all of two minutes. Resulting in at least a 15 minute wait.

I guess my superpower of choosing the slowest lane is starting to flex its muscles!

Last 2 days I had to go public transport as car was at repairers. Of all days without a car it had to rain today. Might have something to do with washing the car last weekend.
Anyway today caught 2 buses and train in the morning and 3 buses in arvo. I edtimate total wait time transiting between buses/train was no more than 2 min

Love what's happened across the ditch in the last 24 hours, always good to see a map change colour, only a couple of states to go here.

What goes around, comes around..................
Enjoy it while you can.Winston Peters has been in 2 coalition governments in the past and both ended up in comprehensive defeats for the partners after 1 term.I really cant see that record changing.

As I said, "what goes around, comes around", it all goes back to a post made by your mate in qld a few years ago when he gloated about a map of the US changing colour following an election, relevance to us here in Australia?, not sure, but anyway it was an obvious political statement at the time and wasn't deleted, so I like to keep stirring the pot.

and so it goes.....

120 refugees from QF37 were moved to EK405 this evening. But what gets me is that the EK flight was only a third full at best. Take away 120 and staff would have outnumbered pax!

Keep stirring Cossie. Roll on election...
Which reminds me (nothing to do with your post and probably should be in medical threat), how is MrsCossie’s knee? And your wrist?
Edit - ignore that! Just saw your post on Medical :p oops

5am wake up for hubby to drive up the Blue Mountains for his Guys Chasing Waterfalls photography group.

As it rained all day yesterday, should be good for them. None of them are bush walkers/hikers so safety in numbers.

And that is perfectly fine. As long as you don’t expect me to follow your rules. Having seen my mother in agony for a few days I have formed my opinion. Not the way she would have wanted and I certainly don’t for myself.
As most of you would have gathered, I have taken a friend to Dignitas in Switzerland to help him die in peace, and now help others that need assistance to get through the mountain of formalities to get acceptance to go to Switzerland.
Until you have lived through watching a loved one die a painful death, I don't expect you to understand, so you are most rightly entitled to your opinion. VIC & NSW legislation is that you must be going to die within the next 12 months.

Not sure why my post would make you think I "expect" anyone to do anything.
I respect your opinion and anyone else who has it, but disagree.
Excellent. Good to hear.
My experience is people who object to something also expect others to have to comply likewise.

I dont understand colour runs. Who wants powder throw into their faces while they are gasping for breath from running?

Are colour runs the new participation trophys for adults that miss out on the adulation?

It’s just a bit of fun

Watching the Bledisloe Cup match - what's with now stopping players as they're heading to the dressing room at the half time whistle and making them give a mini interview for TV! Never seen that happen.

Started booking restaurants for the Xmas hols.... the first one is a long time favourite.

I am sure then that you will be smiling after the next Federal Election.
But but Malcolm Turnbull will turn it all around, he is going to build a new clean coal fire plant that slashes all our energy costs, lower the cost of housing and cut taxes for the big companies so they can reinvest all that money they have been hiding off shore into high paying jobs for all of us!

Fans in the AFL and NRL have been complaining about the Americanisation of sports.

Turnbull is well in the running for the title of Australia's worst Prime Minister.

I have followed a blog about a fellow dying of Prostate cancer. It is not so much the pain but the helplessness that spurs some people to wish for an early death. This post gives some insight-
I Am Breathing, I Am Safe – Mark Mooney – Medium
Now he didn't want an assisted death.2 weeks ago though his fight finally ended.

I'm sorry DrRon but the last bloke the Libs turned to has that one tied down forever. (and his delusioned supporters still fantasise that people voted for him and his policies instead of anyone but the rabble Labor had become.) And never forget Billy!
