When checking out hotels ect, I always check the negs first.

Am I the only one that laughed when reading this? I mean, I dont go to a gluten free or vegan restaurant and be upset if theres one choice with wheat or meat (if any), so lets go to a Steak & Seafood place and cough theres only one veggie choice.

Google is your friend.....

Sounds lovely but I will stick to my unsweetened one - my fans seem to like it that way. Mine is closer to the Delia Smith one (yes I am bored.....)

Christmas Fruit Mince Pies - fool proof pastry recipe? - Recipes & Cooking Tips

Ps you use Blackcat20 always? I use different IDs on social media - disguise my footprint. :). I had one friend who had multiple ids for the same site. She would use whichever one suited her persona for that day. Sounded terribly confusing to me :)

Thanks FM but I'm one of those sad people who make my own fruit mince (also FM) and was looking for a proven recipe - I may do some more googling

I was in my 30s when I found out that mince pies was fruit mince.

Until then, and I've never had one, I was thinking, 'silly Anglos. Eating cold meat mince pies!'

They still don't sound appealing enough to try.
I thought I was the only person in the world who thought that!

Vale Gillian Rolton. Olympic Equestrian who rode through 2 falls and broken collarbone and ribs in Atlanta to ensure back to back Olympic Gold for Australia. Died at 61 after a 2 year battle with cancer and on the second day of SA International Equestrian Event of which she instigated and was Director. And just a great person.

Went down to our shack on the river and saw that something had been digging around in our garden. Rabbits we thought. Then we saw this guy rortling around - he ducked for cover when we disturbed him but he had been digging his snout into the soft ground after all the rain we'd had.

That's exciting. Would be happy to see one on KI this Christmas.
Daughter has come across a few recently - quite close to the suburbs in CBR either at Isaacs Ridge or Narrabundah Hill for those who know the area. She photographed one a day or so back. In all the years we lived near Narrabundah Hill we never saw one.

We saw two at the Southern Ocean Lodge, and this week one at Saffire !!!

That's where I have seen the most especially on the side of the dirt roads (and I don't mean dead) but just heading into the scrub

Its a smart man who chooses his wifes italian lasagna (for dinner) over his moms greek lasagna/pastitsio (for lunch).

Apparently, David Jones has sent emails out to only some people advising them that it’s the shopping day for their AMEX cardholders all day this coming Thursday. I didn’t get that email. I remember when it used to be after hours and you got champagne and orange juice.

Slightly on topic, another Qantas Link delay into Canberra from Sydney, QF1515, why am I not surprised. :(
