It's no longer knowing how to change a tyre but it being physically impossible now with muscles losing strength and nuts tightened so hard when serviced.

Has been the cause of so many trips back into the hire car office before driving out.

I also take a photo of what's there just in case.

That inflatable goo. Friend had a can in his car in case one of the tyres on his golf club wheely thingy got a puncture. We were following him one day and the can exploded in the heat. No boot so the stuff went everywhere.

I really enjoyed watching Burke’s Backyard. Shame.

Application, cover letter and resume submitted. Interviews are on Friday.
Now to prepare a couple of answers for the inevitable "tell us about a time blah blah..." questions.

I gotta say, my resume is looking pretty hefty these days.

I have a view on this whole sorry situation but it may not match others' so perhaps I should just not comment.
I am somewhat conflicted. We had to put up with a whole lot of gender issues back in the ‘70’s - think a police force with <1% women. But we just let it go. But it was uncomfortable at times. These days that’s no longer acceptable. But do we then go back and judge history on what we do now?

EDIT: ok. Cancelling any conflict in my mind now.

An interesting conversation overheard yesterday.3 fellows were on the roof of the house over the canal.Mrsdrron had me in the garden.
Now two of the fellows were having an argument over where the new aerial should go and just how it should be installed. The conversation has been edited.one word beginning with F in it's various forms has been removed. So
Man 1-the aerial should go right at the top of the roof.
Man 2.No way.the reception is coming from that direction so it should go on the west side.
1-you obviously have no idea what you are talking about.
2-but it's still more than you know.
1-we will have to remove these tiles.
2.Are you an idiot.That wouldn't work.
1-I am a qualified tiler.
2-Got your qualifications from Dreamworld then.
1-I'm a 100% right.
2-Hate to see what would happen if you were wrong.
1-I'm always right.
2-we're doing it my way.

I'm not sure what the third fellow was there for.

I've typed and deleted about a dozen responses. The women need to be heard.
Yes they do. But then how do we judge? Some of the events are physically abusive so that’s clear. Bullying? Harassment? Less so. Such activities might not be gender specific - ie everyone was a target. Meaning he was just a nasty person.

I'm on holidays and I'm sick :( - woe is me! I certainly don't think the constant going from cold to hot is helping how I feel overall.

Yeah, saw the ring today. Not a huge fan of the design but Im wondering if this means yellow gold will be popular again.

Im not a royalist but wish them happiness. Hopefully the press will leave them alone.
