Another strange question from me for anyone with a PO Box.

When did you receive your 2010 renewal notice, and what date is it due?

Thanks. That's close to what my thoughts were on timing. Never received a renewal notice for mine (I still lease the box, but all mail is currently being redirected overseas), and want to renew it in case I return back to Oz.

Maybe they won't let me. Hmm. Will have to try and call them on Monday and work it out.

Phone number on my notice is 1800 246 763. Notice has option to update contact details.

And heaven help you if you actually want to change something on the renewal form. Quite often it isn't worth the hassle.

I see there’s a scheduled outage for later today, does anyone know if this will be to upgrade to vBulletin 4? And if so, what new features will this bring. I’ve read v4 brings blogs, which could be useful for TR’s, but not a lot else.

Looking forward to perhaps some new smilies

The answer is NO. But the new layout looks OK. Going to take a bit of getting used to.

And heaven help you if you actually want to change something on the renewal form. Quite often it isn't worth the hassle.

Yeah. It is amazing how complex the process can be.

We’re missing the FFP’s under our avatars again, would be good to get that back, but other than that, the new layout isn’t too bad.

Interestingly, when I post a new comment I am no longer redirected straight to my comment but the top of the page instead. Not sure if I like that or not.

When I click on "Go to first new post" it goes to the top of the page.

I hope these small issues are configurable and applied soon....

I’m sure admin will be busy in the background fixing little issues and getting most things back to the way they were before. I guess every update has some unexpected changes.

Forgive the negativity I have to say so far I do not like the change. Too many differences and I believe going backward.

Can't tell the difference easily between a "New Post" or a "New Post thread that has been read" other than a tiny symbol somewhere next to the title. The old software would lose the bold font once the thread was read.

The "New Posts" page is way too busy with too much information.

I agree, it is a bit hard to realise what has been read and what hasn’t. Plus everything seems very faded. Perhaps the settings can be tweaked a little to restore the old look and feel that you talk about, while keeping the new layout.

I recall just after I joined last year there was a major update that took some time to get used to, but everyone did.

Just started a thread for anyone to post issues you find with the new layout, should make it easier for admin to find and fix issues.
