I love lamb but it’s so expensive. I’m surprised how many people I’ve come across lately who dislike it. It’s been a staple food for us. Woolly jumpers tend to make me itch but the softer varieties are lovely for children’s jumpers.
I don't find lamb expensive. I eat lamb more than any other meat.

Lamb forequarter chops are my favourite. Lamb shoulder roast is also quite good. And then braised lamb soup with rice or risoni.

As we got on the ferry today, I made a joke that the very intense American tourist who we met at dinner tonight might be on and we shouldn't make eye contact.

Guess who was standing next to hubby, buying water.

Why can't I be that correct about winning lotto?

All go in my neighbourhood this morning! A house a few doors away (around the corner) caught fire this morning. No one home but he was a bit of a hoarder. Was a slow news day as there was media there! I was home and was oblivious - thought the neighbours had just lit the BBQ!

I was getting irritated by a vibrating window - caused by the idling fire engine it turns out!

Had heard a siren but I'm just near a main road and the fire station is further down so am used to hearing them.

Checked in to Playford Gallery thingy in Adelaide, got a Loft Suite. Hubby has to go downstairs to pee during the night

I have Italian parents so roast veal on Sundays for us and lamb was a cheap, smelly meat so never had it in our house growing up.

Hubby has to go to his mums house for a lamb roast.
From my European background, lamb was something you fed the dogs. I probably didn't eat lamb for the first 40 years or so of my life.
