The totally off-topic thread

Queensland (and esp. Brisbane) doesn't rate as a place I want to return to , but perhaps it will happen around the end of May...
I can totally sympathise with you Mal. :-|

It's just one of the many things that we have to deal with in life - delivered IT projects are often the result of compromise, rather than technical perfection.
Perhaps I would have gone further in my IT career if I had cut corners....

I can't say I even saw a change in it!
I had to change if I wished to employ the SMS facility (Used to be called Webnotes).

Try this (if you dare - once converted, there is no going back):

http://messaging.bigpond.com

(Not to mention it regularly puts CPU usage to 100% on anything under 3Ghz)

Had a look, other than a misplaced ad, it’s not too bad. As neither my dad nor me use the account though it’s full of cough offers and notices from BigPond saying we’ve hit 20000MB for the month…

Been rather soggy here in Boston; 7.6" of rain the last 48 hours with sleet and hail.

Drove 350 miles r/t along the Masspike to the "Berkshires"; the weather made it all rather interesting.

Looks like you’re stealing our rain!

Will someone wake me up when they've finished talking about IT issues :rolleyes::(

serfty, I have met your AFF look alike - kagitower in PER. We all thought it was amazing. Sorry, we didn't get a photo, but you have an idea what he looks like

No, but I wore all green (suit, tie, shirt) for St Paddy's Day. No green beer at the ADL QP - but a Coopers Pale Ale was close enough.

Didn't realise you were an Orangeman, drron :o - was there a march organised down the main street?

Now to hop aboard my flight.

Didn't get into the main street of Devonport today but i really doubt it.Not an Orangeman but it is my proud tradition to wear an orange shirt on St.patricks Day.Just have this childish need to be different.

You mean green? Unless you're making a political statement.
Definitely a statement but not political. In fact I am getting highly sick of the political ads here on Tassie TV.No overstatement-Krudd is appearing every second ad in many ad breaks-and the locals dont seem to pleased either.

If it wasn't for IT you would not be on this forum.

Any one else wear Orange today-no one in Tassie noticed:cool:
Do they notice anything in Tasmania?

I had a Coopers 62 Pilsner earlier at Irish Murphy's. Interesting beer and interesting label.

I wore black. Guinness black. Met john in Irish Murphys. He was in a photo with some young lasses. Might be on facebook.
A little too young for me (probably too young for you as well) although it could well be a pub to do some more research in the future. ;)

My head aches a little now, should have kept drinking, but otherwise feeling good. Was great to get some Guinness in me again!
