My head aches a little now, should have kept drinking, but otherwise feeling good. Was great to get some Guinness in me again!

Well, I miss my g/f. She's off on a trip for 2 weeks. Since we met, we've talked or SMS'd or e-mailed every day since. This will be the first time we've gone more than 2 days without talking!

How cute. I had to contend with group check in at Sydney. Then my boss wouldn't hand out boarding passes then he realised he should. QP improved my seats to aisles, including an exit on the first flight. Now sipping latte waiting for my first flight.

I wonder what the feeling is about the new tweets button on the side. My fear is that those that don’t have a lot of internet bandwidth a month will see a fault in it’s implementation as it adds extra KB or MB’s to page loads.

Personally I doubt I’d use it too, as I can easily open twitter in another tab to check on something or make a post.

But it does come with rave reviews from both the techie "geeks" as well as industry experts. Lets leave it on for a day or so, get more feedback and then decide. If anyone has a strong feeling either way feel free to PM me.

I do think it’s a good bit of extra, though without being harsh on the rest of the members, I think Twitter is too young for the majority of them

I could see it being utilised by Bundy Bear and anat0l discussing cheap deals they’ve seen, related to threads on here, but then again they talk about it on Twitter because it’s away from here too.

As all my tweets become facebook status messages, using twitter for chit chat is going to confuse some people on facebook plus, isn’t this what the OTT is for?

I do agree we should leave it there for a bit longer, it’s not in the way at all, so I don’t think anyone should worry about it too much.

The problem is that "techie 'Geeks'" generally utilize the latest high speed hardware combining with bit-torrent like internet speeds so don't notice any degradation.

Unfortunately, it's not always like that in the real world.

It’s part of the upgrade, lots of abbreviations shouldn’t confuse new members now, but some members I saw got a rough deal signing their name, such as WT
